I just watched ADHM and haaye khuda! Itne faltu dialogues hain! Especially the Urdu parts. Stereotypes and exoticisation ke siwa kuchh mila hi nahi mujhe. Especially Aishwarya, SRK, and Anushka ke.

In my family we would use this word a lot. Normally it's a situation like "Waha hay so ghar" (the house which is there).

What are other ways to use it properly? Would it be ok to say to a guest "Aap ay so khushi hori" (Im happy that you came) or "Shukriya aap ay so" (Thanks that you came).
