Made the mistake of parking in redjacket today because I had a class in ellicot. Come around 7pm the rain is pouring and 3 buses come and go, only dropping people off at the loop infront of commons. It was funny hearing everyone get their hopes up each time we saw the bus while huddled under the roof. But I got fed up and I decided to sprint all the way down to ellicot complex after the 3rd bus. I almost immediatly regretted it once I made it halfway down. It was funny to hear people shouting "Godspeed" to me as I started running and as I passed others walkimg back with umbrellas.

I think im going to bring a rainjacket tomorrow.

I'm (23m) a first year master's student who went to another school for undergrad and so far I haven't really connected with any of my classmates. I went to one club and felt weird bc everyone seemed to be underclassmen and I felt old and out of place, yet p much all the grad clubs are academic and career focused and there isn't one for my major. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else is in my boat or has any advice how to make friends as a grad student.

What’s the point of every single different class using a very different website and then you have to pay for that website on top of that and then you not being able to see what homework we have to do unless you go on the website and not the bright space account. It’s very frustrating that you have to search up 20 different links and stuff to see what homework you have to do and then on top of that extra $50 minimum for some weird website.

I just got a haul from the App Weee! It’s mostly like dried seafood that I was curious to try. I’m not going to eat all of it because I didn’t realize how much I was going to get. I like to share, but I also like to kinda just walk around and y’know get the cardio in.

I’m curious if anyone is interested in like a challenge of sorts that if you are able to spot me, you get to try something with me, but it will be random. Most of the things I got I’m comfortable with not just trying but definitely eating, but I don’t know about two particular foods I have.

I am currently a sophomore and am planning to apply to the upper division program of the nursing school this December. To the people who were in the same spot as me and were fortunate enough to get in, what tips do you have? As of now I have a 4.0 GPA with some healthcare work experience this summer/last summer, and some extracurriculars but not too many, so I was wondering if I should be worried about that and start trying to add some to my resume this semester. Any helpful tips are deeply appreciated!

Not on meal plan and I cook at home when I have time but when I have classes and I need some high protein low carb stuff, where should I look for them? Not a picky eater and on a cut right now

Fruits found around campus is good carbs and I like poke factory. Drink some Fairlife but that is straight sugar so I try to avoid it.

Why are we so mad at the rain? Personally I enjoy this weather. I came to Buffalo knowing that weather occurs. Hell, I dont even mind when it snows! Can we be adults and weather this weather? Sometimes we will get wet but we are not made of sugar...

normally the last few years ill circle for 20 mins and find something, but this year i usually circle for 45 minutes and not find anything even in far away lots :/ almost every day ive gone through so much gas or just went back home which is disappointing because i should be able to go to the school i pay thousands of dollars out of my own pocket for.

i know the parking situation is usually terrible & everyone complains about it but holy shit this year is built different 😭 thankfully i have a lecture that’s also live streamed so i hope more profs can at least maybe do that to accommodate

-Spider problem

-Drain clogged frequently in bathtub

-Toilet stopped flushing

-light flickering nonstop

-one of the burners on the oven wouldn't turn on

Stop rolling them. Stop following behind the person who just went and pretend you stopped. Learn what a stop all-way sign is and YIELD to others who were waiting before you. If you can't do this go to a driving school. The campus is already congested enough.
