For context, I’ve been locked out of my account since early last year. I’ve put in several support tickets to Twitter but they’re absolutely useless now. They say there’s “no way to verify I’m the account owner” despite the fact that my email was the only information on my account and I received correspondences about my account via email for YEARS.

Seven years.

when I try this on desktop, I’m told that I need to reset my password, and when I press password reset, it says “too many attempts.” Even if I haven’t tried to sign in for months.

I have no idea what to do at this point but move on.

NOTE: I am NOT suspended. I am literally unable to sign in. i got signed out one day and was unable to sign in for no reason in particular.

I've recently decided to take a break from social media and have been trying to delete my account. The issue is, I can't remember my password. Now that doesn't seem like too much of an issue, since I can just send the "forgot password" email to myself, except the email I used to make the account is based out of this random website that doesn't exist anymore. So, I tried to change the email connected to the account, but it asked for my password!

I genuinely have no idea what to do here.

It asks me to enter a accounts "X number" to dm that account,google searches give me no results. Can somone tell me what the heck is a "x number"?

I have a Huawei p80 pro and since spring malfunctions on Twitter had started more regularly than most times. I started having issues with dms too. A lot. I couldn't post replies. Only posts. Then I made the mistake to delete the app to re-download it in an attempt to fix things. I was not able to download it back. I managed to get the app via Aurora store but even after logging in with my Google account the update won't happen. So I can't use dms at all.

I can use some freatures of the app but for dms I use a desktop shortcut 'app' gateway separately. Is there a way to bypass this and get the updated app? So I can have a functional app again? I tired downloading via apk or gstore or even gspace. But it's the same. I get the app and can't update. Even if I download the latest apk.

just today this started popping up every time i try to save a picture in the app. but i literally dont have the option in my settings to enable photo access

I keep getting this and often when I load the home page it requires me to complete one of those check mark captchas....
I tried checking in incognito mode with no extensions, and the google login button doesn't even function.
What the hell is wrong with this site?

i dont know why i keep getting notifications of recommended tweets, when ALL PUSH NOTIFS are off. i am logged in to 8 twitter accounts but i only want notifs from 3 of them, and i only want interactions, so i cant stop all notifs in settings. what is this bug anx how do i fix this!!!!!!

Had to update in order to use the chat and guess what, my drafts ended up a mess of dublicates and drafts of things I already posted and I so naively thought I can delete these dubplicates. Not only it didn't work in some cases but in the cases it did, the media on already published posts was deleted too....

Now I have messed up drafts and most of my recent posts have messed up media. What kind of a fucking site is this? I never thought it could get this bad so whatever you do, do NOT delete any of your drafts.

As the title states there seem to be an issue with android ( so far ) where the sharing a post feature has been taking way too long to load up, so am wondering if anyone is encountering this issue, if possible do post here to help out anyone who has this problem. so far there is a post about this, but just in cause you can either search the name of the person or switching apps for a temp fix.

Embedded videos and gifs show a playback error message on my private account but the same videos and gifs play normally on my public account. Is this a bug or can I fix it? I use the X mobile app on android from the Google Play Store. Any help would be appreciated.

Did anyone else's flag emojis switch from being, well, actual images of flags to just a combination of letters?

For example, the Ukraine Flag Emoji is now, for me, just the letters "UA", instead of a flag.

So I got my account back but its been a week now and everyone I follow is stil completely whipped. I was told it'd come back after a few days but so far nothing.

Is it a lost cause? Its annoying since I only really use twitter to follow artists and alot of them exclusively post on twitter so I wouldn't be able to find them without their names or are foreign so I basically have no chance of finding them again without literally learning a new alphabet so-

Hi, yesterday my X account got hacked. When i created the account i was stupid enough to make the account with a public yopmail aka anyone could access the mailbox. i didn’t think anyone would ever guess it, but they did. the hacker changed my username, email and password. I can no longer log in. The hacker also emptied my yopmail mailbox so i also can’t find the e-mail which confirms the e-mail had been changed. The new e-mail address the hacker used is also a yopmail looking like:
ba^^^^^^^@^^^^^^^.com. now the hacker is posting disgusting content on my page. i have screenshots that i used to be logged into the account and i still know what my original yopmail was and i can still receive emails on there, but because its a yopmail i can’t reply to the support team because i can only send emails to other yopmails. Therefore i am now trying to communicate with the support team with my personal email while mentioning the yopmail that was connected to the account, but im not sure if they will take further action now. i do provide a lot of screenshot evidence though so i hope they believe its my account 😭 does anyone know what else i can do? or does someone know how i can restore deleted emails in a yopmail mailbox? 🤞🏼

Trying to verify myself by a selfie and it's not working, I cleared my cach, I signed in on the web but when I try to use webcam it says I need to use the mobile app to verify myself. I go back into the app and try again and it comes up with "something went wrong"

Only thing so far that's come out of is I've realized how ugly I actually am by these selfies I took 🤣

Hello guys. i used to talk one guy in X. i can still send dm to him but when i go in his profile, it says they can't load the posts.

so i logged in with other account and my private acc in laptop, my chat history is gone in laptop.

i still can send dm on my phone bc we used to chat but can't see his profile on phone.

i don't think his acc is blocked or suspended. it just says << this account doesn't exist>>.

So i wonder if he deleted his acc or X stopped his account.

So basically, I'm logging in through the mobile app, when i try to login with my main account, it's just stuck on a loading screen, but when I login on my other accounts it gets in just fine... I can still login on my main on my pc, or the website version...

I sent a follow request to this account weeks ago and they still haven’t accepted so I was wondering if there was another way to view their tweets. I’ve seen some people say tweetgoon works but the website it redirects me to keeps getting blocked

yesterday it was instant but now it's taking a long time or when i switch apps it's loaded as i return, but i don't wanna switch apps for every post i share to my hb.

i tried clearing my cache and uninstalling but it's still like that, and i have a good internet connection, even on mobile data it's like that

Hello, my camera broke a while back which doesn‘t really bother me because I never used the phone to take pictures anyway, the camera is way too shitty.

But now I run into to trouble when trying to create a Twitter account. I can put in my mail just fine but then it wants to verify I‘m not a bot and opens the camera at which point I‘m stuck. Would be fine if I could just use a picture from the gallery but it seems like it has to be A live image.

Is there any way to create an account without having to do the live camera thing?
