Echelon 4.5 Comp
Holosun 407 Comp
Rook Precision weighted back strap and Magwell.
Apex stainless guide rod
Handle-it-extreme Grips
Good shooter. Not my first Springfield, I have a 4.5 XDM as well. Trigger is good for a duty style gun, good but not great. 5# 5 oz on my Wheeler digital gauge. Shoots pretty flat although I've never shot the non comp. Put 500 rds in 2 days with factory 115 gr. and 124 gr. factory ammo without a hickup. Love the modular design and best of all the VIS system and the ability to direct mount your optic to the slide. Two thumbs up so far.

Don’t think I’ve shared this in this sub yet, but this 4.5 Echelon Comp with the Sharps Bros grip is easily the most comfortable and ergonomic handgun I’ve ever held or shot. Love it!

Was at my local pawn shop and saw this xdm 45 5.25in, came with a big hard case, mag holder, pistol holster, speed loader, and unfortunately only one mag but walked out the door with it after spending 300 bucks. Did I pay too much?

Hi all,
I went for a 10 hour hike Monday and ended up in a thunderstorm for aboit two hours. Everything got soaked, including my daily carry XD9. I wiped down everything I I could with Hoppes lubricating oil, field stripped and dried everything I could see, and lube all the metal parts. Disassembled the mag and dried it out and put a thin layer of oil inside and out, even did the bullets.
What do I do about the trigger and grip safety? Just drop some oil in them? Will that damage anything? I read afterword not to oil the striker channel but I did that already out of ignorance. This has been my EDC for more than 10 years, I'd hate to lose it because of one dang rainstorm.
