Honestly I don't really know what to do now. Score release is in less than 11 hours and I'm freaking out. I've been crying every few days for the past 2 weeks. I'm just a nervous wreck all because of the stupid SAT. I've retaken it 5 times and I really really really need a good grade. I literally got a 140 point improvement between my 1st and 2nd attempt. My score stayed the exact same between my 2nd and 3rd attempt and then it went down by 30 points on my 4th try. I've been studying for a minimum of 4 hours/ day for like 2 months. I finally got a tutor (I didn't want to have to pay for one but I was honestly so incredibly desperate). I've never studied more in my life. I'm a full IB student and was self- studying for AP exams so I honestly never had any time to just dedicate to the SAT, but I think the summer relaly helped. But what if I just wasted all of that time for absolutely nothing. Like I have 4.0 GPA and multiple 7s and 4s and 5s but for some reason I just suck at the SAT. Like I desperately need a 1500+. I have to take the UCAT and the CASPER and a million other tests and I genuinely don't have the energy, mental capacity or anything to have to retake this for the 6th time. Like I actually feel so dumb. I just need this so bad and I can't get myself to do anything except ball my eyes out. I'm beyond exhausted and burnt out. I just need to be done with this test. I signed up to take the ACT but I barely have anytime to learn how to take a whole entire new test. I just NEED to be done. Like I genuinely have zero time to re-study for this and wasted my entire summer on this test. I'm just SOO LOST and genuinely need any advice. Thanks everyone.

sorry for writing this much
It’s 2 AM here and the August SAT scores come out in less than 12 hours.
I genuinely don’t know if I’ll be able to open the score.
This was my 5th and final SAT. I’m an international student, and English is my third language. My English score has always been my biggest weakness (around 580 at best), and I honestly have no idea how I did on this one.
My highest SAT score so far is 1320, but I desperately wanted a 1500 this time. I’ve had a lot of constraints throughout this whole process, including some difficulties with my parents, and just getting to these exams has sometimes been a struggle.
I know a score doesn't define me, and I know there are other parts of my application that matter. But I’d be lying if I said I don’t care. I’ve spent so much time thinking about this number that seeing anything far from 1500 is going to hurt.
And because this is my last attempt, there’s no “I’ll just take it again.”
Part of me wants to check immediately when the scores release just to get it over with.
Another part of me wants to wait until Monday, enjoy the weekend, and pretend the score doesn't exist for two more days.
Would you guys check immediately or wait? 😭
And to everyone else waiting for scores: good luck. I hope we all get the score we’re praying for.

When i gave it I felt really good about my august sat i thought it went really well and so i didnt register for september saying that if i need to then I'll give it in october, but now its been so long that i dont really remember everything in the test so my brain is convincing me that it made it all up and it was actually not that good and the thing is i didmt study more for it because i was very confident so I've forgotten everything and if i have to give it again ill have to start prep from scratch
I also really dont want to give it again because i'm in the second year of a levels and i really need to focus on it
AHHHH IM SO SCARED WHY ARENT THE SCORES COMING OUT YET
Morning batch is rolling.
Goodluck for everyone.
(If you didn't get your score yet wait an hour or 2 and if u still didn't get it u will eventually in the evening batch).
Also share your scores in the comments for encouragement.

When I went to the college board site to see maybe if they will do it early it was actually loading into something usually it just goes straight to the "your exam is on the way" page however this time it was actually loading I was so scared just for it to give me that same page lmao

Other than the usual advice like starting each R&W module from the 16th question, doing Bluebook QBs/tests, reviewing mistakes, etc., are there any tips that you think actually made a big difference?
Maybe something about R&W, time management, or just anything you wish you had known earlier?

I'm so scared, I feel like it will either be my best test yet or a 400 💀
What do y'all think?

SAT scores will arrive in about 8 hours (it wont be released all at once so they vary from 6am et to 8pm et)
I hope everyone of you have given your best
There are many people for whom this august SAT isn't their last one , but there are also lot of people for whom this is their last SAT
For whom this is their last SAT - just calm down ! if this is truly your last then you can do nothing about it . What scores are given probably they are the ones you will be submitting to college apps
Be confident in your strengths - if you haven't done great on this test or haven't achieved your dream score in superscore also just focus on what you could improve ! How could u show the colleges you are applying to that "This SAT score doesen't define me . There are other strengths I have and I genuinely love doing those things " . btw SAT doesn't define you in any manner its not a test of IQ , its not a test of "how well you will do in life " , its not a test of "are you a loser or winner" it is just a test which displays academic readiness for colleges but you have more things in you , with you to show them . Give your best 'REFLECT a lot ' . Spent a ton of time with your parents.
For whom this is not their LAST SAT : Congrats ! You have just earned yourself a data point . If you haven't done the best on this SAT , then you have came to know where you are strong which areas u could improve and where you suck at and this datapoint >>>>> mere practice test . Just keep grinding you will achieve what you want . You still have another try (multiple maybe ) you can still improve a lot if you focus on what moves the needle . So just don't let this get your emotions high !
NO MATTER WHATEVER HAPPENS , this is just a test and its not a benchmark of "WILL YOU DO WELL IN LIFE " ?
Just I want all of you to support the others and reflect on this , so u won't suffer by having all bs in your head and clear you mental worries !
ALL THE BEST MATES !!

i know with test scores coming out tomorrow, everyone is waiting anxiously, but i want to remind you that the number you see on your screen does not suddenly change how hard you worked or what you’re capable of.
whether you open your score and immediately celebrate or feel disappointed, give yourself some grace. the SAT has a funny way of making a few hours on a saturday morning feel like they determine your entire future. they don’t.
there are retakes. there’s superscoring. there are test-optional schools. and, more importantly, there is an entire application beyond your SAT score. one score, good or bad, is not going to make or break everything you’ve spent years building.
good luck to everyone opening their scores tomorrow. i do hope you get exactly what you’re hoping for 🤍🤍
