A few days ago I posted about how I had begun organizing a guys social event over beers in Vancouver and was now seeing if guys in Saskatoon would be interested.
This was met with a huge response and I'm happy to announce that the event is moving forward!
Previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/saskatoon/s/PAbTwlGcUu
Location: High Key Brewing Co.
Date: Saturday, September 12th, 2026
Time: 5PM - 7PM
Joel, the Manager was very gracious about hosting and also waived the minimum spend to support the initiative. When you arrive, let them know you're there for the 'In Good Company' event.
If you responded to my post, you would've received a message from me already and a link to register.
If you're seeing this for the first time, feel free to register here:
https://ingoodcoapp.com/event/d9d76fde-da11-4e00-9e31-c08b6621e67c
Hope everyone meets some cool people and be sure to drink responsibly and don't drink and drive.
Looking forward to building a community of guys in Saskatoon! (If it's a hit, this could become a monthly thing)

I understand if the cars stop at the same time the car going straight goes first. But if the green car arrives first, who has the right of way?
I’ve never been certain because everyone I asked has a different answer lol, and please ignore my crappy drawing

Hey Saskatoon Singles!!
So I’ve been doing those “Stranger Photoshoots” in & around Saskatoon for a bit now and wanted to post it here to reach more people who would love to meet someone new.
Basically how it works is that you send in an application, if I find you a match - you do a photoshoot as a “blind date” with this stranger. I’ve had nothing but good feed back even if the matches don’t feel a spark.
But it’s a fun thing for singles to do in the area and help you get out of your comfort zone ❤️
You can check out my Facebook & TikTok which shows a bunch of these shoots I’ve done & to prove this is legit.
Applications always open.

Any story behind the bordered up house on McKercher at Boychuk? Someone spray painted “EXPLOITED” on the plywood over the garage door.

intersection #1 I am turning right from circle onto clancy using my added lane. Drivers turning left from circle onto clancy immediately go into my added lane.
intersection #2 I am turning right from fairlight onto diefenbaker in my added lane again, drivers turning left from fairlight onto diefenbaker immediately go into my added lane
while not today, I have witnessed a stupid amount of drivers cut accross 3 lanes while turning left directly into this added lane

I've seen a few posts from people having the same issue with finding new friends in this city, and honestly, I can relate.
It's not that people here aren't polite or kind — everyone I've met has been lovely! It just seems like everybody already has their own social circles, and it feels kind of odd to insert yourself into them when you haven't really been invited. 😅
I've also tried Bumble BFF, but I only have two matches and the girls take ages to respond :(
There are a lot of fun events coming up — Halloween parties, 80s parties, etc. — and there's specifically a Latino party that I would LOVE to go to, but I really don't want to go alone anymore! I've been to quite a few shows by myself, and people are so polite that they don't talk to you because they don't want to bother you? Haha, aghhh 😂
So, does anybody (female please!) want a genuine girl friend to hang out with? I live pretty close to the university, and I'm always down to grab a coffee and chat, go for a walk, check out an event, try a new restaurant, or just hang out.
Or maybe there's already a group of girls that would be willing to adopt me? 😂
I have my COVID vaccines and I'm 30 y/o, but I'm fun, I swear. 😂
Or maybe we all the friendless people can throw a party to make friends haha, the friendless party
Thanks for reading! ❤️ Any suggestions are also welcome!

Has anyone had a roach crawl over your desk at work?

My brand-new 2026 vehicle was vandalized today. Someone sprayed a fire extinguisher throughout the entire interior. I’ve opened a claim with SGI and will be having it professionally cleaned, but I’m worried the powder may cause lasting damage or future electrical and mechanical issues.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there a chance the vehicle could be considered a total loss? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This morning around 7:30am it was backed up all the way to 8th St and from what I could tell there were no accidents and nobody got pulled over. You can't go faster than 30-40km/h until it opens up for no reason at all around Preston Crossing, then slows down again close to Circle Dr bridge. The left lane came to a complete stop numerous times.
It seems like people are scared of matching the speed of traffic to change lanes and are being too cautious. I've noticed people behind me just keep putzing along like it's a school zone after it speeds up too.
We don't have that many people coming back from holidays or new drivers or people starting new jobs in the North end. Even with school back in session it doesn't really make sense for northbound to be so congested and slow. Wtf is going on?

I wait for the bus near the Co-op on 51st. I know they need to water their lawns. My frustration is that they constantly do it every morning. The ground is saturated and even after a soaker rain they are still watering. A person can’t even stand at the bus stop without getting wet. I just wish they paid their staff as much as they waste in water.

How are we feeling after the first day of 92. 9 the Grid? Heard Morgan Wallen 4 times yesterday, Dean Brody at least twice, Keith Urban 3 times that I counted, and heard the same song from another artist else twice yesterday.
Announcers don't seem as personable, but could maybe take them awhile to settle on. To me it was just meh. Nothing to write home about

Doors anyone know where a guy could buy some fake flowers that actually look good somewhere in Saskatoon?
The wife prefers fake to real and I would like to find her something cool.
Thanks.

Hi everyone!
My partner and I were planning to rent a condo in January (already in contact with the renter). However, we both have a car and the condo only comes with one parking spot. Especially given the winter, we really both need to plug in.
Does anyone know what our options are? Or know anyone living there without a vehicle that rents out their spot? I’m really hoping it wouldn’t be too pricey because I believe the parking spot is included within the price of renting the condo and we’re both students who frequently are outside of Saskatoon, meaning one vehicle is unfortunately not really an option 😬
