Rewatching AoS today. I forgot a lot of details, but I was certain she was the Clairvoyant and/or part of Hydra. That was all of misdirect of course, down to her final scene, so that made her a red herring.

Hello! I'm the girl that posted about Ward and the Berserker Staff a few weeks ago and someone in the comments told me to continue posting my reactions as I watch the series for the first time lol

I'm currently 11 episodes in and so far, I do think s2 has been better than the first. However I wanna ask what's the general consensus on the switch up from episodic storytelling from the first season? I like what they're doing with it, but I'll admit that I do wish there would be a self contained adventure to break up the pace a little

It's been nonstop Hydra action all season and that's fine, but I also didn't mind when the episode was just Shield responding to a distress call. I understand that GOTG didn't really have anything to do with earth, so it didn't impact the show as much as Dark World or Winter Soldier, but a movie tie-in would've been great right about now

I'm rewatching all Marvel media to ease into Doomsday. I was planning to watch a few episodes of AOS every few movies, but I have the attention span of a goldfish and don't think I would be able to watch 5 seasons worth of 40 minute episodes in the span of a few months. (Then again, I have watched the full Loki series twice, so...)

Hello! i’m on my millionth rewatch and I’m just curious about theories on may when the show first aired. I never got to watch the show when it first came out so it’s always fascinated me. Obviously Bahrain and the calvary is massively hinted at in season 1 and isn’t even revealed what happened until season 2 so what did people think happened when the show first came out? did the theory that she had to kill a child ever get mentioned? thanks dudes

rewatching right now and i STILL don't get this.

in season 3, when daisy was seeing charles' visions, fitz described time as a stack of paper, unchangable and fixed.

then in season 7, he completely switched up and had the whole branching timelines thing going on.

so was he wrong in season 3?

cause the way i understood it, they altered their own timeline in season 7, correct? like fitz and simmons went time travelling, left their daughter, and then returned back to the same spot, the same time. they DIDN'T end up in a whole new changed timeline, right?

so can someone please explain to me whether fitz proved himself wrong or whether i'm just not understanding the whole season 7 plot?? or maybe both lol

Fury was level 3 at that time . He really worked hard to get to the top. Maybe it was mentioned before but I couldn’t find it in other posts. I just love his and Coulson’s relationship. I wish Coulson had more screen time in the movie but I also understand why they made it like that. Sorry guys English is not my first language. Thanks for understanding🥺

Ok so I'm rewatching SHIELD, yes I just made a post BUT I was watching s6 ep 6 inescapable and some stuff just CLICKED for me like insanely just clicked and I gotta know whether anyone else thought of this too or anything other than this. (yes this is long, but my brain has been ruminating over these thoughts for a whileee)

Since the beginning of s6 I've been looking at Jemma oddly, because she doesn't feel like a bangs person. She's not. The show has characterized her as a bright, sunshine, strong woman whose smart and able to conquer anything she puts her mind to (love her btw) BUT after she loses Fitz, her one safety spot in the midst of it all (even on Maveth) she turns to what basically every single woman does when they have a horrible event. She cuts her hair. For me, this is a perfectly plausible reason for getting bangs, especially since pop culture has made it into such a redefining moment .

However, it goes deeper than that. The episode reveals something that perhaps all of us have thought from the beginning, Jemma is too perfect. Her struggles aren't too great, the only things that really befuddle her are the field and the INSANE stuff they go through. Fitz says this during his wedding vows in a roundabt manner when he's all "You're too good for me" (idk whether its the vows scene or earlier) but Jemma's character lacks the insane amount of internal conflict with the stuff that has happened to her. She comes out a bit scarred, but no less worse for the wear WHICH IS WHY the whole Zombie crazy Jemma is so amazing. We finally get to know how everything has impacted her and a look under the surface which is soooo cool.

Also, there's a scene where they look to ppl to save them from the evil versions of each other and who does Fitz look for, MACK, his safe spot, and Jemma looks for Daisy. This is where my brain kinda clicked, bc Daisy and Jemma have a bond, yes, which is elaborated extensively on Kitson when they are high but the way that Daisy's portrayed in this is as though she's an all powerful person, rescuing Jemma, which just shows how much Jemma values Daisy for everything and elevates her.

Another thing is do we think that the mind fusion sharing thing would work with anyone other than Fitz and Simmons? Coulson makes the fact very very clear that these two are basically the same person but not in his thing about "I couldn't figure out whether FitzSimmons were two different people and people think of you as one" So how about that? Like would this have worked if it were other characters and is that a reason as to why they survived so long in the mind hellscape thing especially with Atarah going all you stay together and Enoch is kinda scared?

Sidenote: What happens to their planet? Does the Chronicom planet survive or not?

I’m on my I don’t even know what rewatch. And I just got to S3 E15. Do you think they always planned to use Robin in the future or it just worked out down line?

So I'm rewatching shield, and this question that I had the first time pops up again. So, if fitz is in his cryo sleep, meets them in the future, goes back in time and dies, and then jemma meets him/picks him up in the midst of his cryo sleep, HOW DOES FITZ COME BACK AND KEEP THIS LOOP GOING ON?

Same question with Elena's future self. How is the future changeable but also visitable, and could it be that they didn't visit the future, but an alternate universe's future which helped their planet's future? This feels like a huge innaccuracy but it's time travel so who knows.

It just feels rather unscientific, especially if we subscribe to the stack of paper theory that FitzSimmons describes earlier in the show and if we don't, then what kind fo theory really explains all of this?

Im new to this Sub, what are peoples thoughts on how the series divulges from the main MCU? I know s1-5 fit in snug into the main MCU continuity, and then the creators werent given any insights or directions for Endgame so they couldnt plan properly, so we got the inconsitencies, my thought process is either the time travel in S5 shifted them onto a new timeline , or they simply existed in an alternate timeline from the beginning, one which shares the history of the MCU up until the Snap, we know the battle with Thanos did happen in the AOS timeline, but maybe thor went for the head instead?

Either way, im always annoyed that people use the lack of connection S6/7 have with the MCU to discredit the show, and then have 0 issue with shows like "What If?" and "Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman" and movies like "Fantastic Four First Steps" being labelled MCU despite none of them taking place in the MCU lol

I was kinda hoping the whole team would be there too, but it was great to see her randomly.

i've known a grant ward. they did something really evil and then acted exactly how he did in the start of season 2. i know in their own way, they were trying to redeem themself, but they just kept doing harm in their efforts to be accountable. just like grant ward, they truly believe themself to be a good person at heart, and that that's what should matter (more than what he did). so what i'm curious about is this - what was ward doing wrong while he was in their custody at the start of season 2? how is he deluding himself and what is he doing to his former teammates that keeps him harmful even from behind bars?

Making this team I followed the five band rule when it comes to TV tropes. The leader: Phil Coulson, the lancer:Melinda May, the big guy: Deathlok, the heart/hero: Quake and the brains: waveguide.

The relationship between Coulson and May will be similar to the show but with changes. My take on Quake and Deathlok will be inspired more into their comic origins and waveguide is a new oc for this group.

Thank you for the praises and I'll do some more updates when I finish a draft of the script and comic.

New TV show with Nick Blood - AKA Hunter.

Highly recommend. If you missed Hunter this is for you.

It’s about two British cops - 6 episodes. But it’s got that same witty funny dialogue as Shield and it turns out Nick Blood is Hunter as he has the same vibes in this show.

It’s a really good watch, even without the shield connection. I recommend.

About to give you a really rough sketch of the episode as I am not a writer. Just a guy with an idea I think would be sick. Better than the slop we got in seasons 2 and 3.

After we see a man wipe the icing off Caps shield, we hear a few bullets firing in the background, and the hand slide off the ice. The shield agents on that mission disappear and we are taken to the same base in which the winter soldier is being kept. Seeing as Hydra found an earlier opportunity to reveal themselves, they do not know about Loki’s septer, and will therefore be going for the other object of that power, the space stone.

Steve is put through the same system as Bucky and given a look similar to the animated hydra captain America in ‘Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United.’ Some time passes and a new mission arrives. Send in Cap and Winter Soldier and a few agents to get the tesseract from a shield base. One thing goes wrong, Loki pops out the same day. There is some fighting but eventually, When Hydra realizes Loki is also looking to steal the tesseract, and a being of godly power, they try to work with him. Loki agrees, but both parties have plans of eventually betraying each other.

Hydra plans on using the tesseract to try and return red skull, but that will not work as he is on vormir. The events with Hawkeye and the other mind controlled people still happened, and now the sides are quite uneven. Hydra has Steve, Bucky, Loki, Hawkeye, while shield has Natasha, Tony, and Bruce whom they’ve now recruited. At this point Loki gets into a fight about the tesseract with Hydra who each want to use it to open a portal. At that point shield shows up and a three way fight breaks loose. Loki is only with Hawkeye yet still winning, until there is a huge lightning blast. Thor shows up and turns the tables. Iron Man knocks Steve’s sense back into him and when he quickly sees the situation he tries his best to get in the fight. Obviously it will be harder to snap Bucky out of it, as he had years and years of brain washing. Cap drops the shield, as he can’t stand fighting with the Hydra logo, even if it’s the only shield he has. He has a one on one with Bucky. And then hulk and Thor two v one Loki and take him out. The tesseract is not obtained by either party, but back in the hands of the good guys.

This is a really rough draft, and definitely had a lot of plot points missing that would make a good ep. This is really just a fun idea I had, and I hope you all like it.

I'm only on season 1 episode 4 on the show because I became a big fan of quakes recently. I want to know how her gauntlets work, from my own research they help her focus her powers through it and to also prevent her from injuring herself if she goes beyond her limit.

Is there anything else they can do? Like could she store up vibrations and build up the force so when she either punches or slams her hands on the ground the damage would be devastating.

Could they also work like Iron man's repulsors?
