I don’t see how that’s a bad thing, though. If the majority of people don’t align republican, then the party shouldn’t exist. A new party would emerge to fill the void, because not everyone aligns with Dems either. They’re just the better option of the two available.
Precisely. How do people still not understand this? We weren't handed Republicans and Democrats when the country was founded; they literally didn't exist. George Washington himself famously despided parties, and didn't think they should exist. History has justified him.
