Discussion Opa Locka Weird Vibe
Guys,
Does any other person feel a weird feeling in opa locka? I am a sensitive person and felt like I was going thru the heaviest place on earth.

Welcome to the Monthly Miami Jobs thread, the place to post any openings you have, look for jobs, and ask questions about working in Miami. This is an experimental thread for now, so we're keeping a close eye on things to make sure things don't go sideways, and will cancel it if they do.
The Rules:
Again, this is an experiment for now, and we'll be keeping a close eye on things, and will not hesitate to pull the plug in case of shenanigans. Good luck to everyone!

I’m wondering if anyone knows of any black women OBs in Miami area? I found one at Jackson, however after my first appointment today, she informed me that they are not an intimate group and that I could be seen and delivered by any doctor. Does anyone know of any black women OBs where I could be seen and delivered consistently by the same one? TIA!

This was my favorite thing about listening to the radio before streaming. The 411-PAIN commercials that would come on had full production value, they were so catchy you'd sing them hours later at work, and they were just long enough to keep you wanting more without being so long you got bored.
They were NOT jingles, either. They were actual songs; usually a verse and a bridge before 2 choruses. Good singers too! They used to play right after the long-as-hell Anidjar and Levine commercials o despues de Alex Hanna, but with other commercials after. It was like a nice little song break between the commercials, and half the time they'd really have you thinking is a new song.
And they did all kinds of genres! There was salsa commercials, r&b, rock, country, Latin romance, pop, rap, de todo!! Even gospel! So, what was your favorite 411-PAIN song?

Scoping out stuff to do this week and figured I'd share what popped up on my radar.
If you're into food and drinks, Tacos & Tattoos has Burgers & Happy Hour on 9/3, and Elia is doing Tipsy Tea Thursdays the same night. Both look like solid low key options if you just want food, a drink, and no cover charge stress.
For music, Anees is playing ZeyZey on 9/3, and there's a Jazz Series set with Greg Diamond over at Conventillo Bar, also 9/3. I'd honestly lean toward the jazz set if you want something more chill.
If you're in party mode instead, Boho House Miami has their Boho House Thursday going on that night too.
Full calendar here if you want to dig in: https://ma.to/events/miami?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=mato_event_sync&utm_content=miami

hi guys!
i am trying to help a friend she recently lost her job due to management not understanding my friend was going through a lot.
her grandma that she takes care of is getting old and is in a home my friend has a lot of bills she has a lawyer and court fees.. which gets me to my next point
she is a US born citizen ( only say this because i know people worry about papers ) but tbh i don’t think she’d pass a background check.. because of this she’s looking for a serving job or anywhere that would let her work tbh.. would anyone on here have any leads? she’s open to working anywhere she’s in the fountainbleau ishhh area.
she’s a great person just made stupid mistakes growing up but she’s an incredible worker and has an amazing personality. she learns quick and is very driven .. she also went to trade school for electricity too .. she doesn’t know i’m posting this she just has a lot on her plate and i wanna see if i can get any leads for a job or any relief for her..
she’s 25 years old ! and has a car !
thanks in advance !

When: Wednesday, Sept 4, around 4:15 PM
Where: Brickell City Centre
You walked up to me and told me I looked beautiful. I was caught completely off guard, got confused, and only managed to stammer out a quick "thanks." I walked away kicking myself immediately after. If you see this, I just wanted you to know that I think you are really cute too.
Tell me what you were wearing or what part of the mall we were in so I know it's you!
