Question Student Work Program

Since I'm eligible for the mcmaster student work program and got the PDF stating I am a part of it, I applied to like 13 jobs, (all entry level, little to no experience required,) and I haven't heard back from any of them at all. Should I forget about those jobs or is it normal to not hear back until now...?
