u/Negative_Choice_8531 1d ago

That cat is built like it pays property taxes. Absolute unit.

22

u/artaru 20h ago

no catxation w/o catpresentation!

60

u/iIuvwaterr 1d ago

A very cute cat

17

u/Electronic_Adagio458 19h ago

That cat looks like it owns the whole house and daddy is just lucky to be allowed back in.

6

u/NetworkingForFun 13h ago

I wasn’t paying close attention when the video started and assumed it was a dog.

18

u/Uzas_Was_Right 1d ago

Or a very small man

3

u/Wrong_Atmosphere_490 22h ago

Those were my exact words too! Haha

3

u/ArnoldJudas1666 15h ago

Daddy sized cat.

242

u/SleepyFinnishBear 1d ago

I can see him saying "i dont want a cat" like yesterday, haha

73

u/Prestigious-Head-877 1d ago

Yep this is most definitely a dude that at some point utter or thought the words, "I'm just not a cat person!" and a random cat spirit heard this and said, Hold my catnip!

9

u/Proud-Technician3811 23h ago

Haha, I can totally picture that! It's funny how they act like they don’t want one until the cat arrives and then it's all love and cuddles.

u/Notes2Feel 22h ago

What breed of cat is that? Golden retriever?

81

u/bryson-iz-daKing 1d ago

big orange!

u/Pewpew-OuttaMyWaay 1d ago

Part lion?!?

5

u/LeCollectif 9h ago

I thought this was a goddamned golden retriever at first.

38

u/Responsible-Creme811 1d ago

My first thought when the cat came into view was “holy shit, that’s a big cat!!” 😳

16

u/WhatEnglish90 23h ago

My brain wouldn't even comprehend it and was confused by the dog with cat ears.

67

u/Anxious_Internal_712 1d ago

The dad who said no pets

27

u/EMF911 1d ago

And some people think cats aren’t sweet and affectionate!!

-91

u/redmctrashface 1d ago

Well some cats are sweet and affectionate and that's a blessing when it's the case, but unfortunately that's not very often

39

u/HotYogurtCloset69 23h ago

That's definitely a YOU problem buddy. Cats are incredibly affectionate, when you show them respect.

44

u/Unsd 1d ago

I've genuinely never met a non-affectionate cat. Even the barn cat is affectionate. You just gotta know and respect how they communicate their affection.

5

u/iMogwai 19h ago

We had a total of three cats through my childhood and two of them were super social and affectionate but the third one wanted absolutely nothing to do with people. They definitely do exist.

4

u/Unsd 16h ago

I mean sure, there are also dogs that are not affectionate but we don't talk about dogs not being affectionate in the same way. Ultimately they're individuals and you'll have some variance. But cats are still social and affectionate, by and large. I don't really have a cat in the fight, so to speak. I have dogs lol. It's just silly that people have this notion that cats are not affectionate.

2

u/rebelallianxe 15h ago

I've lived with 10 cats in my lifetime, two of them were a bit standoffish with everyone, one of them only liked one of us and one of them was a complete arsehole lol.

-6

u/redmctrashface 18h ago

Sshhhh don't say it out loud, you will hurt some feelings

26

u/GentlewomenNeverTell 1d ago edited 21h ago

Maybe you just smell wrong. Cats love the hell out of me but I don't grab them and force cuddle them.

-35

u/redmctrashface 23h ago

Being downvoted by crazycat braindeads... I had multiple cats, friends got cats. Some are affectionate but not the majority. The vast majority is NOT as the cat in the video. Damn I hate crazy cat people...

33

u/oMrEnigma 22h ago

You had multiple cats? Damn, you must be a crazy cat person.

-5

u/redmctrashface 20h ago

Wow you're a genius

9

u/carpincho_carajo 19h ago

Seeing your attitude, calling people who disagree with you "braindeads"... if that's how you treat humans, then how're you treating your cats that you think majority of them are not affectionate?

Because most of them are, if you respect them.

9

u/FeelGoodNotBad 21h ago

It depends on the owner.

If the majority of the cats you’ve owned weren’t affectionate, then that was definitely a ‘you’ problem.

-5

u/redmctrashface 20h ago

No it's not. Cats also have their personnality and some breeds tend to be more friendly than other. If it was me the problem, then they would all behave the same, your point is irrelevant.

3

u/rebelallianxe 15h ago

I'm surprised you're getting so many down votes I've lived with 10 cats over my lifetime (am now 49) and they've all had distinctly different personalities and not all were affectionate. The ones that were made up for the others haha.

1

u/redmctrashface 12h ago edited 12h ago

Because cat people are extremists. If you say something that doesn't imply cats are the best thing in the universe then you are basically a nazi. I have a cat and had some in the past. But having a cat doesn't mean I can't use my brain and be honest about things. That's why I hate cat mafia...

6

u/FeelGoodNotBad 20h ago

Nope. Not at all.

My point stands.

17

u/theycallmesneha08 1d ago

the cat is so cute!!

17

u/TheCay04 1d ago

My cat does this with me too because I make sure to feed him each time I get home. So he’s all loving with me and happy to see me when I get home.

But I know all he wants is food.

17

u/Glad_Amphibian6972 1d ago

I know a daddy's baby when I see 1 ❤️

13

u/Funny-Yam-4477 1d ago

What a ginormous and beautiful cat!

9

u/amaranthusrowan 1d ago

I thought it was the golden retriever

9

u/StarDewbie 1d ago

This is the sweetest thing. My lort that cat is HUGE! <3

8

u/No-Mycologist47 21h ago

Number one, I never seen a cat that big or fluffy. Number two I've never seen cats, at least not up close or even from a distance be this gentle when it comes down to approaching its owner. I've never been a cat person I don't hate them, but I don't interact with them long enough to see them this affectionate. This is kind of sweet though

7

u/FlinHorse 17h ago

My cat yells at me for attention until I pick him up. If I dont pick him up he will flop on the floor and meow at me until I rub his belly.

When I pick him up he must be on my left shoulder for an arbitrary amount of time where upon he will purr and relax and slowly transfer to a liquid state where I can hold and pet him however until hes decided its enough or until I get tired of him drooling on me.

7

u/coffee_and-cats 1d ago

Love this! That puddy tat LOVES his daddy, and daddy loves him too. The banter is great when daddy squawks "myeh" back at the cat 🤣🤣😂😂

1

u/sleigh_all_day 20h ago

Doesn’t look like a childless woman. 🤔

2

u/Taurpion 20h ago

64% of cat owners are women, and statistically, single person households own more cats.

Not pointing out anything really, other than statistically, cats are more likely to be owned by women living alone. That doesn’t mean there aren’t cats living in family homes.
