i got a 133 score which is well below my diagnostic, which is low already. i felt pretty confident after the test. although i only really studied for a month straight, it still hits incredibly hard how low it was. my PTs were around 150s so I kinda expected to get around that range on the LSAT. i feel so heavily discouraged and unmotivated now. i know the LSAT doesnt define my intelligence and it shouldn't be a big deal, but it doesnt stop it from feeling like one.

ive been studying 6 days a week for 4-5 hours. I take a PT every Friday. i bought the LSAT trainer and the LSAT trilogy bibles. I bought the Lawhub subscription, ive been using LSAT demon. idk what to do anymore.

Hi everyone, I’m extremely stressed and would love to hear the firsthand experiences of people who have gone through the same situation.

I had an unsuccessful cycle due to my low LSAT. As embarrassing as it is, I took it 3 times so far.

August 2025: 146 (cancelled)
November 2025: 147
January 2026: 144

After completing my undergraduate in April, I took about the last four months to study. It has been hard but I have seen improvement and now I am practice testing in the mid 150s.

My goal is to get a high 150s to even a flat 160.
I feel I can possibly reach that goal with a bit more time. Precautionary I have registered for the October exam.

I really want to get it out if the way as I am reapplying again this cycle. But since it is my fourth time 💀 I don’t have the luxury to rush it anymore. The thing is that on September 1st, I will be starting a one year course based Political Science masters program.

I am only taking three courses and work one day a week at my chill retail job. I feel it might be hard but if I concentrate, I can really move up a few more points.

I was wondering what other people have done and if it manageable?

I am planning on taking the October test, and i am really worried right now. this is my third time taking it. I have scored in the mid 140s the last two times and I'm hoping for mid 150s (I know it's a big jump) however I use to score around 150 when I was studying for it the second time and right now I have been studying for around a month to take it in October and my score has been decreasing more and more. I just took a PT yesterday and i scored 142. I am really worried and i don't know what to do.

sidenote: I only take Practice tests once a week and i review all the questions i missed i also signed up earlier this month for LSAT demon.

I know this is totally not ideal but I'm preparing to take the October LSAT. So far, I have been studying for a month and think it is time for me to invest in an additional resource. I post and comment regularly on r/LSAT, so I certainly encourage folks to take a look at my profile. 

$900 for 9 hours. After a free, 45-minute Zoom session, $450 is due before the first 90-minute session (an hour simply isn’t enough). The second $450 payment is due after the second 90-minute session.

Students often want to continue after this, in which case the hourly rate remains the same: $100 per hour.

I have a full plan of action for each session. Naturally, it’s focused on students’ individual aptitude and knowledge. 

I also show people how to do their homework. Again, if you check my profile, you’ll see it’s largely about review review review review. And then review again. There are very real patterns to this test. The way to see them is through constant review of material with which a student is already familiar. 

The large majority of my students have previous experience with the LSAT. Many of them are currently taking a course. I never tell people to forget what they’ve learned because I’m a big believer in multiple perspectives. 

But my approach is completely streamlined. It provides a specific step-by-step method for every single question on the test. It also includes strategies that I’m 95% confident are not taught anywhere else.

Although make no mistake: Mastering the science of conditional reasoning is essential to true LSAT success, defined as a significant increase in score and not necessarily a high score (there are those in this world that can score 170+ on a cold diagnostic).

If you’ve checked my profile, it goes without saying that I talk a lot about psychology and the right mindset towards this test. Over the years, I’ve taken great interest in neuroscience and what makes the brain stronger and faster.

Basically, you have to work out your brain the way you have to work out your body. And working out isn’t any fun at all. At least if you’re doing it right.

My diagnostic lsat was a 153 with -6 on one LR section and -8 on the other. Just took a practice lsat after almost 3 months of study and got a 158 but my LR stayed the same at -6 on one section and -8 on the other. Feeling really discouraged right now. I’ve just been thinking about this pt score all day and how disappointed I am. I’m now getting anxiety and worried I won’t get a good enough score to get into a decent school.
Note: for studying I just followed the 7sage curriculum with some drilling here and there.

How are you guys feeling?

Hi hi I work full time and want to dedicate a full 9 months- a year of studying to prep for the LSAT. There’s so much discourse and I wanted to invest in the best test prep. My diagnostic score was 143 and currently I’ve only been using the LSAC website for LR drills, and an LSAT podcasts that reviews practice test sections.
