Hi all! This is my baby Cooper a few weeks after I rescued him from my neighbour’s shed back in April. He was freezing, tiny, and covered in fleas. He’s now 5 months old and a very healthy happy neutered boy with the fluffiest tail I’ve ever seen! ☺️🥰

Triplets….cause it’s mean to separate any of them from one another we are now parents of triplets. Ginny is our beautiful calico, and Johnston (middle) and Wesley our handsome tuxedos. They’re are the absolute sweetest lil balls of joy. Ginny and Johnston have already found a bit of their voices and have been purring a whole lot, Wesley on the other hand…still a bit shy but he’s getting there :)

She has been doing this for hours, every night this week. This door opens to the hallway in my apartment building, and I am obviously not going to let her out. Whenever I am entering my apartment, she always worms her way out into the hallway, but never too far. It is easy to pick her up and bring her back in, so don’t mind having to catch her every time I come home. However, it is the nonstop meowing at the door every night that gets on my nerves. How do I let her know that I am not, and will never, open that door for her?

i am afraid i will hurt them accidentally. are they too young to play?😓😓 if i can play with them, then how?

New baby girl! I have 4 cats already, and when a coworker of mine found a litter around her house, I figured what’s the harm in just one more?

Her and her new big brother Mozzarella are inseparable already. Only 2 weeks of her being out and about full time with the other cats, and she fits right in. All my others are 4+ years old, and Mozzarella is only a year and a half and SO excited to be around someone as energetic as him. They run around my apartment all night… and all day… while the others sleep in a pack on my bed. So exciting to see how happy he is now to have a best friend like him, and it’s a plus that she’s sweet and cute too.

Tell me I got a kitten without telling me I got a kitten. She is funny as hell, with an unbelievably wicked personality. She also has a great temperment.

Lucky and grateful for her. Filling my days with nothing but joy.

So my cat gave birth 2 weeks 3 days ago & she's been a wonderful mum cat, always running to their needs when they call, grooming & feeding but the last couple of days she's been getting aggressive. I don't think it's in a bad way but a playful way & I just wanna know if this is normal. There's 3 kittens, all 3 are well above the recommended weight, they're all walking & eyes opened & even playing together. Sometimes mum cat can bite a little hard as they'll cry a bit & I get a little panicked. Am I over worried or is this mum just generally playing? I can hear her purring at the moment with soft meows & chirps lol.

4 1/2 months old and almost 6 lbs, I think I have a big boy in the making 🤣🥰

I love when my cats fall asleep on me, even though I’m stuck like that for a while ahaha

I found 3 abandoned kittens, still nursing age. Help! I’ve never hand raised a kitten this young before and I’m hoping to keep them alive for a few days until I can surrender them to our local feral cat program. Any advice, things to watch out for , feeding tips would be great! Thanks!

I went to my local shelter today to adopt a cat. The plan was an adult cat because I just moved in to an apartment rental and I start full time work in two weeks.

Then I saw this 7 month old kitten, and I fell in love. He has such a special personality and was pressing against his cage, meowing for me after I put him back. He’s a solitary kitten, grew up as the only kitten and I’m told he’s pretty independent because of that. He seems chill but also very playful.

My apartment is cat friendly, I’m just worried about damage that would impact my return of damage deposit when I move out. I also want to make sure I can give him what he needs! I’ll be working Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30. My work is 7 minutes from home so pretty close.

If I play with him before I leave in the morning and when I come home, and leave lots of toys out, that he’d do okay in this environment?

Any advice for adopting a kitten around this age?

I met Pickles, a four week old kitten, at a volunteer appreciation luncheon at my local shelter. Her foster brought her in for a few minutes for some exposure and socialization. I even got to hold her in her blanket bundle! She was so small, it was unbelievable.

The foster told me "she likes you" which was a very dangerous thing for me to hear! Haha! She was found alone with no mom or siblings around. She's currently being fed every two hours. I hope I see her again!

My 6 weeks young kitten is weening terribly, I've offered solid food and paste but she refuses both, and instead eats the litter (non clumping). Any suggestions on how to sort her out?

Coworker brought it in a kitten and she said she was gonna take it to the pound but I decided to take it

My original plan was to leave it with my grandparents as they have a lot of cats as they live on a farm. Then my manager got all happy (I’ve never seen this behavior before from her she scares me) and said she would pay for the vet bill

My main concern is food my manager is letting me take some wet food but do they drink milk or water or both can they have 2%

hi guys, i’m new here, i just really need some advice.

i (23m) have a 3 month old female kitten that i’ve had for about a month and a half now. she came to me from a friend who’s cat had kittens.

i have three other cats (all female), and they all get along. my kitten and my other youngest (2 female) are inseparable.

my kitten has three litter boxes throughout the house to choose from. she came to us mostly box trained. now she will literally walk past two freshly cleaned litter boxes to go and pee behind the washing machine. or she’ll pee in my clean laundry. or in a cardboard box we have on the floor. or on a paper bag we have on the floor.

my mother is telling me that if i can’t get her potty trained then i have to rehome her and i refuse to do that. i’ve tried some of the online advice i’ve seen and it just hasn’t been working. for now, when i go to school or work, im gonna keep her secluded in my room again with food and water and a litter box but that isnt viable long term.

any advice is welcome, i really love her and dont want to give her up

Hello everyone. I have a 5 month old Bengal Maine coon mix. More on the Bengal side. She just turned 5 months. I am trying to find the right balance of wet and dry food for a good budget ratio. I tried a few different wet foods and she seems to be ok with Purina pro plan kitten wet food. I also have her on the kitten Purina One kibble. She is on the skinny side but not unhealthy.

I leave the kibble out all day and I feed her one can a day (try). I've tried feeding different times throughout the day. My dilemma here is she does not always finish all the wet food and I end up having to throw it out. She eats all her dry food though and she finishes by grazing through out the day. I leave out about 1/3 cup of dry food which she finishes around 8pm

So naturally I tried different feeding times leaving only kibble from 9-7, adding less so she gets hungry etc but she still only eats a bit of the wet food. I also tried mutiple different wet food specifically for kittens. She hates Fancy feast kitten wet food won't even lick it, I tried blue buffalo, Tiki cat, viva la kitty and all the same she only eats a bit, maybe half a can in the day sometimes 3/4, sometimes a full can but it's not consistent then won't eat the refrigerated food the next day unless it's fresh.

This method gets costly if she is only eating half. So my question is do you have any kitten food recommendations or strategies that worked for your picky eater?
