Hello, is there any library for Java similar to Rich in Python?

I'm currently learning Java and recently practiced inheritance by creating a simple example with a Person parent class and Student child class.

I understand the basic concept, but I'm still trying to understand when inheritance is actually useful in a real project rather than just using it because the language allows it.

For people who use Java professionally, what are some situations where inheritance makes sense, and when would you choose composition instead?

I'm interested in understanding the reasoning behind the design choice, not just the syntax.

I have been assigned to the team of UEMS - Server Framework and we have been assigned the task to learn in-depth of Java OOPS, Design Patterns and others. I want help on how to learn and how to approach this as I just have joined here as a Project Trainee and I have to be ready before few days. I don't know much about Java or OOPS, and I can afford 5 hours a day to learn. Can anyone walk me through how to learn?

I recently built a computer screen lock application using Java Swing.

The idea was to create a simple desktop application that can lock the computer and require a password to unlock it. I built the project mainly to practice Java Swing GUI development and learn how different components can work together in a real desktop application.

So in continuation with my last post on learning Java, it’s been 5 weeks that I’ve been managing to learn along with my job. I have reached till the concept of threads and its priorities. So far it’s been good and I think I have to build immense number of projects. I’m already into a telecom domain project at work. I think I can implement the APIs that I generally see daily being called from frontend. Maybe not fully but I’ll get the idea hopefully. Well, that’s my end goal.

The immediate goal is to practice from MOOC and complete the collection APIs, streams, JDBC.

I really want to become a full stack ENGINEER not just another full stack developer. I hope you guys understand the difference :)
