Recently our water got shut off without warning by the city because the apartment complex ignored multiple warnings to fix significant issues with the plumbing. So a few days later our water is turned back on but this is the state of it.

The water also gets cold within 2 minutes, and we have to turn the shower head off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on to reset our 2 minutes. (No, we’re NOT out of hot water, because the bottom faucet runs hot)

I still remember that in early 2012, tech companies staged a blackout in protest against the SOPA law, which would have essentially killed a ton of websites. Back then, we internet users were asked to protest this injustice, which young people, who were the biggest internet users, did. Those same tech companies that asked for our support would betray us 10 years later by selling our data to train AI, basically killing the internet by the end of 2022. And now they expect us to stand idly by when they stole our data to feed their plagiarism machines? It's something my 12-year-old self, who lived through the fight against SOPA and PIPA, would have never seen coming.
