This is the first bottle removed from a newly developed mold.

For a heavy bottom whiskey bottle, the challenge is not only creating a beautiful shape, but also controlling:

Glass distribution
Bottle weight and balance
Bottom thickness
Clarity and surface quality
Consistency during mass production

A premium bottle usually starts months before the whiskey reaches the shelf.

The process involves bottle design, 3D modeling, mold development, testing, and production adjustment.

Has anyone tried or using plasticity? What are your thoughts?

Has anyone some experience in sourcing these LED kits? It seems to me that many lamp designs rely heavily on these. I find them everywhere I look.

But the problem is that they all do the same thing: Three white tones and dimming using a touch sensor. I am looking for a module that dims but I want to install a rotary dimmer, but can't for the love of design find any. I've been looking for weeks.

Has anyone stumbled upon an LED driver that can be hooked with a rotary dimmer instead of a touch sensor?

I am also not an expert on electronics, so I'd preferably want an entire kit (round LED board, battery, USD inlet) that fits together.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Just by looking at it, the big orange button asks for attention and so I understand where I need to press. I imagine these are the recording button, while the other one on the opposite side might be the on/off.

And this is what I find interesting: The product communicates how it should be used (Functionality comes first). The style should is the consequence of function, once the important functional questions have been answered.

Hello designers, hope you are well. So I'm writing to see if I'm the only one who feels like this. Currently, I'm a student designing 3 designer figurine trophies, and my god, I'm feeling tired, fed up, and exhausted. Plus, I'm a perfectionist, so I'm gonna redo some of them for my final portfolio and add other incomplete projects, which I'm concerned about. Also, I don't like how much work I have to do just to get to the end result from research, sketching, prototyping, rendering, and then manufacturing. It's so tedious; I can't fathom it.

I’m very into consumer design but atm I’m struggling to work out what to do. In school I do Product Design A-level (Furniture and homeware products mostly). I really like the idea of doing Fashion/Footwear, Homeware, Furniture or even some sort of design for consumer tech products. My issue is ability, I’m 17 at the moment so I know I have time to learn stuff, like I design clothes for example but I don’t know how to actually make them. I can’t code so I couldn’t do any actual electronic engineering type stuff. I’m interested in making pretty stuff mostly for the moment but I don’t hate the idea of doing more practical stuff.

I have an issue right now of whether I specialise on something especially with the job market and how it is. Would it be a good idea to study industrial design, do you think something could be more suited? If you need more info about me let me know but I want to ask people who are really into design on their thoughts and opinions on what I could do!
