• Starting in November, Xbox Game Pass will introduce monthly limits for Cloud Gaming.
• Game Pass Ultimate: 15 hours per month
• Game Pass Premium: 10 hours per month
• Game Pass Essential: 5 hours per month
• Currently, eligible Game Pass subscribers can use Cloud Gaming without monthly hour limits.
• Once the included hours are used, players will be able to purchase additional cloud gaming hours through the Xbox Store.
• Xbox says the change is expected to affect around 4% of Game Pass subscribers.
• Also starting in November, Game Pass will no longer be required for Xbox Cloud Gaming — players will be able to buy cloud playtime separately and stream eligible games they already own.
• Microsoft says the limits are being introduced because the cost of running cloud gaming increases as usage and playtime grow, acknowledging that some players will effectively end up paying more.
• Pricing for additional hours, supported markets, eligible games and other details will be announced before the changes take effect.

If you're having performance issues with the game, these are some of the tweaks and workarounds players are currently trying:

• Disable Frame Generation if you're experiencing stuttering, inconsistent frame pacing or visual artifacts. Try getting a stable base framerate first
• Experiment with DLSS modes. Quality/Balanced can sometimes provide a better overall experience than Performance, as dropping to Performance doesn't necessarily result in a huge FPS gain while image quality takes a noticeable hit
• Lower shadows and vegetation-related settings first
• Cap your framerate to something your system can maintain consistently (60, 50, 45, etc)
• Try disabling V-Sync in-game and using your GPU driver's V-Sync/G-Sync/FreeSync settings instead
• Obvious one: update your GPU drivers and clear/rebuild the shader cache after updating if the stuttering is unusually severe
• Let shaders/cache settle. Some traversal stuttering may become less noticeable after you've spent time in an area
• Restart the game after changing major graphics settings
• If you're running the game from an HDD, move it to an SSD/NVMe

• Game stuttering when in Windowed / Borderless mode – please try launching the game in Full Screen

• Missing option of mapping buttons on a PS5 gamepad – we’re already working on it
• Sprinting stops when changing directions on a gamepad – we're working on a fix, but in the meantime you can try changing the sensitivity of your controller from 1 to 0.8 (in the console settings)

CD Projekt reported 435 million PLN in H1 2026 revenue, up 23% year over year, and 249 million PLN in net profit, up 37%, for a 57.2% net margin. The Witcher franchise has now surpassed 90 million copies, including more than 65 million for The Witcher 3.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has meanwhile sold 15 million copies in under three years. The 40-million figure shown for the base game was already disclosed previously, so Phantom Liberty's 15M is the genuinely new Cyberpunk sales milestone here.

The company's development allocation is equally revealing: 519 developers are now assigned to The Witcher 4, 184 to Cyberpunk 2, 84 to Sirius and 33 to new IP Hadar. CD Projekt's development workforce increased from 975 to 1,045 since April.
