After a long time, I’ve decided to take the plunge, especially following Sony’s recent announcement that it’s phasing out physical editions. For me, that was the last straw.

The ironic thing is that I, too, was part of the problem: for years I bought practically everything digitally, on PSN and Steam. I was aware that we didn’t actually own the games, but I kept thinking: ‘It’ll never happen to me.’

Then, seeing what happened to other users, I began to realise that perhaps I was simply accepting a system I didn’t like.

So here we are. As of today, I’m officially part of the GOG community and, bit by bit, I want to try and move as many titles as possible from my Steam library onto the platform.

Better late than never.

In the battle of owning vs. licensing, Rebel Wolves is doing it right and exactly how I envision digital ownership to be. A triple A game, DRM free, allowing you to outright own the digital copy. This may be the first real GOG game I buy.

I love Playing Among US and Among US 3D on Steam but I wonder whether there are any good casual multiplayer games for GOG

I bought blood of the dawn walker on gog and while I’ll play most of it on my pc sometimes I like to have a sneaky game when on my commute home and I use GeForce now for that. I see it’s just steam only for dawn walker.

Any word on more gog bought games on GeForce now?

GOG Galaxy? Heroic Games Launcher? Downloading the install files directly and manually installing them? How do you install them on Linux, using Bottles maybe?

its similar with steam. there the download was approx 7.5gb but the stated storage size is 2gb.
can anyone clarify this?

Not a long post but here goes, My father bought me Thief when on the way back cross country after i suffered a Chemical imbalance of the Brain. we stopped overnight at a driver reviver stop and i got to setup my PC, well my father passed away last year due to compications with kidney cancer..Just wanted to say thanks to the GOG group for giving me the chance to relive Thief again on modern hardware..Thanks GOG..

Is it possible to use dualsense edge to play Witcher 3 on gog? I don’t mind using a wire. But I would also like PS prompts (x, o etc).

so to put it quickly, i got stalker gamma, wanted to intsall an update through the gamma launcher, but was denied because the game couldt be in program files. i changed the games location, but now gog didnt detect it (im a genius, i know.) i moved it back, but no luck. i cant even uninstall and reinstall it, because it just fails. what do i do??

Hello, Sabotage Studio team and fellow GOG players. I noticed that the GOG version of The Messenger still lacks achievement support through GOG Galaxy, while the Steam and console versions have them fully implemented. Many players in the GOG community love hunting achievements and would appreciate it if the GOG version received a small patch to include this feature. Is there any chance we can get an update for this?

I have Linux Mint, so Proton or Bottle probably won't work for me in some games, but they're working on future Linux compatibility for the launcher. My games will always be mine, and my old games will be adapted so they can be played. So goodbye Steam, goodbye Epic, it's time for a change.
