I grew up watching so much NG and ng wild and I was so excited when D+ was announced cause I could watch all these. But unfortunately, none of them are available. There is not a single Cosmos show. I really wanted to watch these. I can't find Big Cats or some other documentaries. This is such a shame.

Great movie though

The new app for Disney+ has now been released in Egypt. (I don’t know if other countries received theirs today)

I have tested it out and I gotta say I am VERY VERY HAPPY. We had an older interface that people said was called the “Hotstar” version. But genuinely this is a HUGE upgrade for me. I think its night and day.

Here are the new stuff I noticed:

- New UI with the latest images

- A much faster and smoother interface

- MUCH MORE profile avatar

- Arabic audio (it was available on the old Disney+ too but great to see them on the new app) same with subtitles.

- We finally got IMAX Enhanced (this was the one that excited me most)

- Titles now have their own special features (for example the MCU films)

- AND MORE!

- I did notice that some titles are missing. Like the Spider-Man films for example which were on the older Disney+. And more but I will give them the benefit of the doubt since the app just launched.

The only weird thing was that the app on the App Store only had 3 ratings. I assumed we are getting the same app as every other country so I just thought reviews from around the world would appear too. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

As the title says, Samsung TVs are currently unable to access the Disney+ app in Brazil. Upon opening it, a message pops up saying the app has been terminated and is no longer available.
Disney says they acknowledge the issue and are working on a fix.

I've had the disney hulu and hbo bundle for 20 months at this point. Same email, service upgraded from just hulu, which i had for 5 years before that. I was logged out of all my disney and hbo services today, when trying to log back in, it kept trying to get me to sign up for service.

Sure enough, my disney plus, my disney, hulu and hbo logins all showed no services. I verified that I was billed 18 days ago. Customer support took 20 minutes, but eventually found my account tied to another, similar, email address, but they were cagey about it and wouldn't tell me the address, even though I am paying for the service. By giving them my other emails, i confirmed it wasn't any of my accounts. They tried and could not correct the account, the only option from 2 reps was to cancel and sign up again.

I did check through all of my email and there were no account notifications about any changes to my account or service.

I'm a bit concerned that my payments and account info can be transferred to another account, even moreso because reps can't fix it. I'm more concerned that they have a security problem.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

pretty self explanatory, when i found out disney was going to have a streaming platform, i was super excited, nearly 7 years on and it’s still the most laggy and unplayable platform sometimes that it makes me frustrated.

am i being a karen or does anyone else find this soooo off putting???

So I've been paying for Disney plus yearly for the Ad-free. Sounds like I save by doing this. It is like 189/year vs 18.99/month so saving like 38$ a year.

I wanted to add Hulu ad free too. But it sounds like you can't just add it.

Am I understanding ... I have to cancel my yearly, get a credit and then sign up again for the 19.99 Disney + Hulu ad-free?

They don't offer yearly subscription where I will save anything? So it'll cost me roughly 50 more a year then to get Hulu then what I'm paying now for Disney only, right? Have to pay monthly.

Only other option is to keep my Disney as is and then get a Hulu account? Which is 18.99 for Hulu a month. Which is over 200/year a month. No brainer to cancel my yearly and fo monthly ...

This sound right? Or any tricks to get it added some how?

Having all the streaming services, One thing I really miss about cable is not being able to just spontaneously sit down and pick up a movie in the middle or wherever. Kinda like watching a Harry Potter or Star Wars movie marathon on syfy or whatever. It would be cool if D+ and other streams had like big movie sagas continuously playing through each film so we could just tune in, rather than starting each movie from the beginning. Maybe I’m delusional but it would be a fun way to watch.

A couple of months back I looked around on Disney+ and started this romantic comedy in Spanish. I watched about 20ish minutes (the first half, was around 45 mins) and then decided to finish it another time. Went back to finish it just now and I can no longer find it! Disney+ doesn't have a history page but it's not in my continue watching section and looking around the shows in Spanish I don't see it (that's how I found it the first time).

So I'm hoping it might sound familiar to someone and they can name it for me, maybe I can at least find it somewhere else! It starts out with the main character, a woman, gets dumped by her (boyfriend? fiancé?). It really piles it on about how depressed she is, just laying around in bed and stuff. She gets hungry and goes to get a quick bite to eat and the guy at another table starts talking to her, iirc she has a newspaper and he wanted to see something in it. They start talking and that's as far as I got! Anyone have any suggestions??

I changed my plan to the lower tier in the meantime but is there any indication to how long it could take Disney to restore their features for the Premium+ subscription?
