• Entertainment / Cute / Funny • Why does my dog enjoy sunbathing so much?
I come home from work and let him outside and he just flops over in the yard and snoozes. It’s like 100F out and you’re wearing a fur coat!

There is a litter of 6 puppies I m fostering, and none of them has this kind of tail apart from her. Thought it was cute enough to share

I have to wait like another week until his vet appointment (neuter and vaccinations) cuz I live in an apartment complex.
IT’S TORTURE!!! I am visiting him a lot tho.
I still have to install the dog gate and get his measurements for a puppy car crate. And finish puppy proofing the apartment. Other than that, I’m ready!

This is Kratos
(no, not like god of war, he’s the Greek god of strength. Yes, I get that a lot lol)
I’m ASSUMING he’s some sort of Aussie Lab mix, he also has a chow spot on his tongue.
I plan on doing a dna test when I have some expendable income. This is purely for my own entertainment.
Behaviorally he is amazing. He is an amazing listener. Great learner. Funny, playful, loving. If I run around him in circles, trying to play with him, he will bite my leg/calves so he definitely has herding instinct. He is the happiest boy and absolutely LOVES to swim. Very lazy, but is happy to be brought along what I do things. I take him everywhere with me. He is the best listener people typically assume he is a service animal. Great with all animals, very quiet.
Physically, he looks bulky from afar, but he’s actually very lean. He is around 68lbs I have him on a high protein diet and he refuses to gain weight. He has a pretty blocky head, very fluffy ears. I call them his pigtails. Purple spot on his tongue. Fluffy legs, ears, paws, and tail, but the rest of him is sleek. He sheds a lot and it’s very fine, soft fur. Huge paws, webbed feet. Blue on his chest and front legs but he’s black everywhere else, but on his head and shoulders, there are hints of red in the black. Not a drooler unless he’s really excited or at the dog park typically it’s simultaneously. Smooshy face.
I’m sure he’s got some super mutt in him somewhere but I’m curious as to what others think.

Took this sweet girl out on a field trip while I was travelling in O’ahu Hawaii.
If you’re looking to adopt a well-mannered, sweet, socialized older dog, this girl is perfect in the city, great swimmer, great hiker, amazing adventure dog and would make someone really really happy. Her exact age and breed are unknown.
Available for adoption at the Hawaiian Humane Society Mo’ili’ili campus. Alternatively give her a break from the shelter, and take her out on an excursion too.
She’s a star. Link for more info on her and how to adopt: https://youtu.be/JqA2lnX6rQY?si=bCCiHR-RoERH1v9U

So, Yowie (the big guy) has developed a rather nasty allergic “hot spot” on his rear leg and needs to be coned accordingly. Marv (the small fry) is wearing his old cone in a show of support! 😂 Power to the doggos.

I left my dog's can of food out overnight. I threw it away because if it was my human food I wouldn't chance it. What would you have done? I guess a can is only about $3USD

I posted a while ago about losing my boys so suddenly and being scared to get attatched again, well... I did it! We brought home this lovely boy from our local shelter This last weekend :) he is sooo sweet! So cuddly and gentle! Hes no replacement but still a very happy addition.
