DISCUSSION Strategy Sold Bitcoin at $60K. Now It’s Buying at $80K — and Says It Would Buy at $130K.
Strategy sold nearly 7,000 BTC around $60K, rebuilt its balance sheet, then bought back at $80K — because for Saylor’s machine, cost of capital now matters more than Bitcoin’s price.

DISCUSSION If the CLARITY Act passes, where do you think the money flows first?
Bitcoin? Large-cap altcoins? DeFi? Or the infrastructure projects that actually make institutional adoption possible?
I’m wondering if regulatory clarity would create a broad crypto rally, or if the biggest benefit would go to a smaller group of assets and infrastructure.
Which part of the market do you think would benefit first, and why?

DISCUSSION Taking Profit from Crypto Investment feels harder than buying
I have started Investing in the crypto markets and honestly its really crazy stuff. At one moment its hyped so much than I feel like an millionaire but when it gets crashed then it feels like a biggest loss of my life. I definitely found this harder than buying, as recently I redeemed some profit but I was charged an heavy fees and taxes which I think my half of the amount go in this fees and taxes.
How do you decide when it’s time to take some money off the table?

🚨 GOLD UNDER PRESSURE
Gold has had a rough week.
Down 6.4% to around $4,374/oz, with higher U.S. yields and a stronger dollar putting pressure on the metal.
Geopolitics is still keeping buyers interested, but this week’s U.S. jobs data could be the real catalyst.

12000$ locked on kraken, then charged 100$ to get my own money back
I'm sharing my worst experience with kraken so far, and I'm looking for a new exchange.
I opened my kraken account around 1-2 weeks ago, completed the kyc, completed the AML form, deposited money from a bank account (under my own name), converted part of it to ETH and then made a few trades.
A few days later I deposited more money (again from the same bank account), bought the assets I wanted and then started withdrawing to my cold wallet.
The first withdrawal went through without issue, the second one (it was to the same ethereum address) was suddenly blocked without any reason. I then received an email saying they would contact me "as soon as possible", then, obviously, nothing.
For 7 days, despite opening a ticket and contacting kraken through social media (where my post on krakensupport was even removed) I received no useful or substantive information about either the reason for the restriction or how long the review could take. The only thing support said and repeated was "a specialist will contact you as soon as possible", yet nobody did. Meanwhile the app was showing an estimated specialist response time of around 9 minutes.
This morning kraken finally contacted me (after 8 days), not to resolve the problem but to tell me that my account is being closed without any meaningful reason. I was given 10 days to withdraw the remaining funds, except crypto withdrawals were no longer available, the only option offered was withdrawing fiat back to my bank account. That means I was forced to sell the crypto I had purchased, but the best part comes now, kraken converter charges 1% to convert from crypto to fiat, so I basically lost 100$ on top of the trading costs and losses associated with closing the position.
If you're using kraken mainly to buy crypto and move it into self-custody, be aware that this can happen even after a previous withdrawal to the same wallet has already been completed successfully.
p.s. There was nothing unusual about the source of funds.
- KYC had been completed
- The AML/source-of-funds form and various questions had been completed
- All fiat deposits came by bank transfer (SEPA) from my own bank, under my own name, the same used to create and complete kyc on kraken
- Source of funds verifiable
- The ethereum adddress was my own wallet where kraken had already successfully processed a withdrawal (they saved that address too and they made me verify the wallet to ensure it was mine)
- The existing funds on that wallet were traceable to platforms such as bybit and revolut ramp, with ordinary swaps performed over time. I never used mixers nor services intended to obscure transaction history

Exchange Looking for a good crypto exchange platform with API
Hello everyone, new here, I'm currently using an API bot with REVOLUT X. My bot is working very so far, but my current problem is that I'm hitting the 1000 order/day limit within revolut X, which is a hard disadvantage to my bot that acts on a very wide range of the market. One of the advantages of REVOLUT X is that it has 0 fees on maker fees. Of course, my strategy which requires hundreds of orders per day, should have a negligible maker's fee. So I'm here to ask of you for guidance for an adequate app. One which wouldn't restrain me as much and have minimum fees, and of course one that I could trust with my money. It would help me so much and I would be so grateful.
Thank you for reading

DISCUSSION What part of crypto could AI agents actually make better?
Not trading bots or price predictions.
I'm more curious about the less obvious stuff: payments, DeFi operations, treasury management, cross-chain activity, compliance, or something else entirely.
Where do you think agents could provide real utility rather than just add another layer of automation?

SENTIMENT Stop calling it the 'future of finance' when 99% of altcoins are literally designed like casino card odds.
coinmarketcap-fun.vercel.appMost retail traders spend hours analyzing charts and technical indicators, only to realize the house always wins anyway.
Strip away the "future of finance" buzzwords and you're left with live market odds, ridiculous valuations, and glorified gambling. The tool linked above simply formats live coin metrics into honest casino playing cards with market roasts.
Change my mind: Is there any fundamental difference between holding 90% of altcoins right now and sitting at a blackjack table?

NEWS Pakistan Found a New Way to Build a Bitcoin Reserve: Mine It Instead of Buying It.
Pakistan may have found a smarter way to build a Bitcoin reserve:
Don’t buy BTC with scarce dollars. Mine it with surplus electricity.
Energy in. Bitcoin out.
If this works, the next sovereign Bitcoin race may not be fought on exchanges.
It may be fought over megawatts.
