So for like 3 days I have been trying to get the Sims 4 updater and install some DLCs into my game, I don't have unlimited storage, and I dont want all the DLCs, just a fair amount to make my game playable and enjoyable. I have tried getting the DLC unlocker and stuff, but I can't run the updater because it's an exe file and i'm on Mac. To open it I've tried for hours to get wine and home-brew and all that stuff but nothing works. Can anybody help me get some DLC for my game on mac??

I have played 007 first light game downloaded from anker games in my laptop I have played few mission, now my doubt is if I copy the game folder paste on another PC or laptop can I play the game from where I left. Guyz pls answer for my question?

I dowloaded the hypervisor version of AC Black Flag from FitGirls offical site. I had to set up the hyperviosr settings and restart my PC every time I wanted to play the game which was annoying.

Happily pirating away and one day I get an error message saying "Denouvo tried to delete the token, is Hypervisor running"..... tried a load of online fixes, nothing worked!!

While researching online fixes I realised FitGirls has released an updated version of AC Black Flag Resynced so I downloaded that and it works perfectly BUT...... I am back at square 1!!!! So many hours of gameplay down the drain!!! FML!! The updated version comes with a LOAD of extras though like swords, pistols, hulls, sails etc!

I kept the old save files before uninstalling the HV version and hoped it would be a simple case of copy and paste the new files into the new save game folder and that would be that!...... Never that easy is it?! I have tried using Google AI which just gave me loads of useless info/coding suggestions and I have tried using the AC Save Tool to convert the save files but NOTHING has worked and I am honestly at my wits end!!! Google AI can walk the plank as useful as its been!

Long story short! Is there ANY way I can port my old saves into the new version of AC Black Flag Resynced or do I have to resign myself to slogging back through those lost hours of gameplay?

Never really used Reddit but I've been searching for my DL2 save file for a few days now. I checked a few sources and found Goldberg SteamEmu Saves with such files but they don't seem to link to the game as I tried to delete them temporarily and I kept the save files when loading the game up. I am kinda lost on what else to try so might as well ask on here to see if anyone else could help.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced just doesn't want to launch on my rog ally after installing from Fitgirl repacks (the non HV one), like I see it launch on task manager background processes then closes in a second, does it need the Ubisoft connect app to be downloaded? I've downloaded the All In one c++ redistributable runtimes from majorgeeks also updated direct x.

Is it just me or someone else's game is also getting hanged. Although I tried clearing the cache, reinstalled the game but still it's not working. Any solution?

Do you prefer the hypervisor method or the traditional crack?

Hey. Quick context if the name doesn't ring a bell: Achievement Watcher is the app most people here get pointed to when they want proper achievement tracking and popups on games that aren't running through a real Steam client. It's great, but the build everyone still links hasn't had new code since January.

I've been maintaining a continuation of it called AW Next. Free, open source, LGPL, no account, no Steam Web API key, and it works offline. 40 releases since June. I mostly built it for my own library and figured it was worth sharing properly.

One library for everything

Every game on your PC in one place, whether it runs on Steam, GOG, Epic, Ubisoft, EA, Xbox, a Steam emulator or a console emulator. Search, filters, covers, and an installed-only filter that's genuinely useful when most of your library is offline.

Per game you get unlock history with real dates, progress achievements with their counters, three rarity tiers, hidden descriptions resolved instead of left blank, DLC and update tags, and playtime tracking.

Sources it reads:

• Steam - local appcache and public endpoints. Optional account connection for a private profile or Family.
• Steam emulator saves - Goldberg, GBE Fork, GreenLuma, CreamAPI, SmartSteamEmu, Nemirtingas, plus the CODEX / RUNE / EMPRESS / Online-Fix / Tenoke layouts.
• Portable releases with no config at all - read straight from the save tree.
• Goldberg Uplay R2 and Goldberg SocialClub (the Rockstar titles).
• GOG Galaxy, Epic, Ubisoft Connect, EA Desktop, Xbox PC - from their local data.
• RPCS3, ShadPS4, Xenia watched live, and GFWL through XLiveLessNess.

Each one toggles independently, and no Steam Web API key anywhere - achievement lists come from public endpoints and get cached locally, so the app keeps working with no connection.

Notifications you can actually design

Toast or in-game overlay, and Automatic mode works out which one you can actually see and sends exactly one - so no more double notification when you alt-tab out.

Nine bundled presets, fourteen sounds, and a designer that previews the real popup rather than an approximation. A design saves to a single .awpreset file you can pass around, there's a community gallery for them, and there's a converter if you already made a Steam Achievement Notifier .san theme.

Ctrl+Shift+K opens the running game's full achievement list with search, filters and rarity badges without alt-tabbing. Both the overlay and the app itself are fully navigable from a controller, which matters if you play on a TV.

Screenshots of an unlock are HDR-aware: on an HDR display a normal capture clips every highlight to flat white, so there's a small native helper that tone-maps them properly instead.

When a game doesn't report

This is the part I originally built it for. Every tracker can tell you a game is stuck at 0%. This one tells you why.

Each game gets a health panel that names the actual cause - missing steam_settings, no achievement schema, the wrong emulator build, an undocumented save path, a Uplay R2 loader that ignores its own settings, or two layers running at once with the tracker reading the wrong one - and then offers only the repair that applies to that game.

Available repairs: steam_settings, a matched GBE Fork runtime installed with its schemas, architecture-safe Uplay R1 and R2 fixes, Steamless, achievement reset or restore, manual unlock, and a per-game source override.

Diagnosis is read-only and always runs first. Anything that writes to your game files asks you first and takes a backup you can roll back. Automatic repair exists but is off by default.

The app itself

Simple and Advanced modes, 28 interface languages, and 13 built-in themes that are editable layer by layer, savable as your own and shareable as a portable file.

It also stays cheap to leave running, which mattered to me since it sits in the tray all day: playtime tracking used to spawn tasklist.exe every three seconds, and now takes a ToolHelp snapshot through koffi instead - 7.0% of a core down to 0.4%.

Before you install

• Windows 10 and 11, x64. Installs per user - no admin rights, nothing in Program Files.
• The installer is self-signed, so SmartScreen will grumble. More info → Run anyway.
• Your antivirus will flag the bundled emulator files. It's a false positive: standing in for a game's Steam or Ubisoft library is exactly what detection engines are built to notice. They're third-party, open source, and verified against known SHA-256 digests before any repair uses them. Every release's SHA-256 is published if you'd rather check VirusTotal first.
• It has its own data directory and imports an existing Achievement Watcher setup on first launch without touching it, so you can run both.

Built on xan105' original and darktakayanagi's 2.x branch. Parts of it - the controller code, some of the launcher readers, some presets and sounds - are derived from JokerVerse's Achievements.

And separately from all of the above: if your achievements aren't tracking, reply with the game, the release group and what your save folder looks like and I'll tell you what's going on. Most of these fixes aren't specific to my tool, and I'd rather you knew how to do them yourself.

I’ve only ever done the sims but I’m considering cracking other games (obviously triple title, I won’t mess with indie it’s messed up) should I get a VPN or is it a huge risk to do it without one. I don’t need to be getting any notices from my ISP. I don’t have a lot of money so if I do need one anyone have suggestions for good free VPNS?

Steam dont start anymore, to start steam after i turn off my laptop, i need to open thee "steam setup .exe" and re download steam just for steam to launch idk why does anyone know how to correct that please ?

So when I try to boot the game it shows me the starting logo and then it goes to a black screen then It shuts down, anybody knows how to solve this issue?

I've tried everything the only thing that was working for me was installing a new dlc then it was working just fine but I've tried to install the 2.6.6 version and it blocked the install bcause of a virus now I'm lost cause the updater don't do anything and I can't install a dlc or run the dlc unlocker

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a version of BioShock2 that already includes the BioShock2: Minerva's Den DLC. I'm a bit hesitant to download BioShock 2 from random websites because I'm worried I'll end up downloading only the base game and find out afterward that Minerva's Den isn't included. Does anyone know a reliable place to download a version that already comes with the Minerva's Den DLC? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i tried downloading a game but i get the no internet connection error, i saw a tutorial saying something about putting something in the powershell and then putting the game api, but when i do it it fails and idk why

all my games that i have been downloaded using steam tools is now saying purchase instead of play i can play them i know by going to the game and go to manage and browse local folder and launch it by the exe file but i cannot use updates on it and it doesn't end THERE in poppy playtime i added all the dlc (the dlc of chapter 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 AND 5) AND NOW it ALL GONE AND IT UNINSTALLED IT SELF IT GOT DELETED soo if you guys have any solutions pls tell me because i am gonna explode soon

If i had a crack version of rdr2 from fit girl but i need to mod it if i use steamidra (steamtools) to get it on my account and verify it to easily mod it instead of the crack is it possible
