I’m looking for some rims to put on the C8 but unsure of what color I should be looking for, at first I was a fan of the murdered out look, but now I’m a bit unsure. Top three are Gloss Black, Bronze, or Silver/Chrome. Any recommendations/opinions would be appreciated, thank you!

What's the real ownership cost of a C6 Grand Sport? 2011 in this case.

Let's say everything is perfect and smooth with just minor fixes here and there, what should I expect on average?

Also, let's say if some of the common stuff that goes wrong on these, goes wrong, harmonic balancer for example and other things that you guys can mention, what budget should I have set a side?

Won't be a daily but I'm expecting to use it a lot.

What should be a realistic number to keep in mind for operating and maintenance cost other than tires and oil changes.

What is a reasonable price to pay for a car with 60K miles? Silver 6 speed manual. It was owned by an older gentleman and apparently they have maintenance receipts.

What next? I love my c6z. AHP build. Do I add a c7gs or zo6 or a ctsv ?

I’m starting do some research for what exhaust system I want to eventually get for my c6 z06. I’m currently leaning towards Billy boat mostly because it has the valve system but I haven’t been able to find a legit video of a c6z with the fusion setup. Anyone here have any sounds clips of one? Or any other exhausts I’m trying to explore my options. (I’m also favoring borla if Billy boat isn’t the way I end up going) thanks 🙏

Looking at a 2011 1Lt C6 Corvette for $34,900 CAD. Price seems pretty low compared to others I’ve seen. Assuming it has a clean history and checks out mechanically, does this seem like a good deal? Anything specific I should look out for? Also has 41k km and is bone stock also a Manuel.

The dealers seem really firm on their pricing, with none willing to go below MSRP, or some dealers claiming that the car has already been "pre-sold" before it lands. Any tips or tricks to negotiate? There’s a 2014 c7 corvette near me 2014 3LT stingray with 78k miles for $31k clean title , I was just wondering if that’s a good deal , the c7 is in really good condition i already test drove it and 3 different c7 and they all drove the same so im just curious if this is a good deal or is it going to be mechanical nightmare and if it is then what should i expect maintenance wise for this car ? I know it’s a little more expensive compared to like a mustang but i own a 2016 bmw 340xi with 600 whp on e85 so IM already used to heavy maintenance but is it worse than a bmw at that mileage? Should i avoid that one?

I’ve brought it to a specified soft top shop twice, and everytime it seems to be fixed for a couple weeks, but then starts doing this again. Am I missing something? Any help would be much appreciated!

I've made a deal with a seller on FB marketplace, he was asking for 19k and negotiated it down to 17.5k. Everything seems in great condition more or less with some minor imperfections on the paint but over all very clean. I looked at the cars carfax report and has been regularly serviced every 4-5k miles ever since its first been bought. It's a 2008 base C6 3LT with 100k miles. The car looks good but the Cam and modifications make me think that 17.5k is still too much for it. What do you guys think?

Been a lurker here for a while and wanted to share something I've been working on. I started a small shop called CockpitFit that makes seat covers cut specifically for enthusiast cars — and the C5 was one of the first fitments I built out, since factory leather on these is getting rough after 20+ years and generic "universal" covers never sit right on our seats.

A few things that matter to this crowd specifically:

Pattern is made for the actual C5 seat bolsters/bolster wear points, not a generic bucket seat.

Doesn't mess with airbag sensors or seat controls.

Made to actually protect the factory leather/vinyl underneath, not just look good for a week

Still a small operation, so I'd genuinely rather get feedback from people who know these cars than just post and run. If anyone's dealt with seat wear on their C5 and has thoughts on fitment, material, or what you'd actually want in a cover, I'm all ears — happy to answer questions here too.

My Z51 C6 is almost 20 years old and has 50k miles. I’ve been thinking about buying the DRM Bilsteins but just ran across a set of Godspeed coilovers on FB marketplace for $500. They are essentially new.

I looked them up and they are apparently considered to be decent, but not the best out there.

For my use I don’t need the best. I drive the car a couple of times per week. I’ve never tracked it, although I would like to run it around a track eventually. And adjustable ride height is not important to me.
