Most of us saw this coming. But 770 just made it official. Flames now will be 4-6 pm (some flames content better than no flames content).
I'm McLovin it.

Hi everyone. We received this puck for a charity auction and it did not include the players name. Any help would be great.

NHL Prospect Tiers 2026-27: Scouts rank and project league’s top 145 young players
9 Flames in the ranking
Tier 3 — All Star
“A top 60 player. Someone who wouldn’t be the best player on a contender, but would be an important part of any contending or championship core. A strong top-line forward, above average No. 1 defenseman, or borderline top five goalie.”
3B - Carson Carels
3B - Zayne Parekh
Tier 4 — Star
“A top 100 player. Someone who would be a strong piece within a contending or championship core, but not a go-to option. An average top-line forward, below average No. 1 defenseman, or top 10 goalie.”
4A - Šimon Nemec
4A - Matvei Gridin
Tier 5 — Support
“A top 150 player. Someone who would offer strong support to a contending or championship core, but wouldn’t be an integral piece within it. A below-average top-line forward, a strong No. 2 defenseman, or an above average starter.”
5A - Cole Reschny
5B - Hunter Brzustewicz
5C - Cullen Potter
5C - Ethen Wyttenbach
5C - Tobias Trejbal

I know this is the final regular season game, but anything being resold by more than 50% extra should be voided and put back on the market at face value 🤷♀️

Looking to make a trip up to see the dome in its final season against the kings January 16. When’s the best time and place to get tickets? I’ve been looking online and prices seem pretty steep right now. I’d like to be around 200 per ticket.
Also recs of things to do or bars/restaurants to try would be appreciated. Planning to stay close to the arena

Have you seen some of the prices for the resale tickets for the final game? 6K up top... feel like I'm back in Toronto seeing that.
On another note. I reviewed my first year as a season ticket holder if you care to watch.

I drew this back in 2011, but it seems fitting to post it again, with Saddledome in its final season.
This is my pencil drawing inspired by the Calgary Flames and its strong fanbase. The piece emphasizes the C of Red tradition as fans walk to the Saddledome, all wearing red jerseys numbered to represent of some of the most influential players in Flames' history. Ghosted in the sky above the flaming dome are seven of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Flames' fans throughout their proud history; with emphasis on their magical Stanley Cup run in 1989. From left to right: Mike Vernon, Joe Nieuwendyk, Lanny McDonald, Theoren Fleury, Al MacInnis, Miikka Kiprusoff and Jarome Iginla. Harvey the Hound welcomes fans to the game.

One section of the pressers for the April 10th game at the dome. Crazy that my season ticket seats are around $100 for this game 🤣

Ever since they announced the permanent EBUG goalie job would be added this season, I’ve been dying to find out who will be our number #3 goalie in 26-27.
Since we have no media left (still, thanks Francis). I can’t text and ask Pat or listen to speculation.
Any guesses or info?

Not sure if anyone else has been following along with Mash Sports on his quest for an NHL team. TLDR he started watching hockey during the playoffs last year and decided to make a series of videos on choosing a team. The Flames have made it to the top 8! I am worried he's still just going to choose the Sharks haha but anyway it's been fun to watch all the reasons why he's drawn to the Flames. Next episode he'll pick one of the BoA teams. Anywho hockey can't come soon enough.

Posting with a picture because mods advised that will help avoid auto-deletion.
Hi all! I'm a new hockey follower--got into it via the Olympics last year, then became a big PWHL fan, now exploring other leagues as well. Calgary is geographically my closest NHL team (although that's not saying much, I'm in a pro hockey desert), so I'd like to get into the Flames.
I've spent some time browsing this subreddit and gleaned some basics about where the team is at the moment. I'd love to know what you'd consider essential knowledge for a new fan. Could be history, in-jokes, rivalries, player info, characteristic style of play, whatever. For what it's worth, I'm far enough away that I'm not actually that familiar with Calgary itself, so info about the community and how it intersects with the team is also welcome. As you might guess from my choice of pic, I'm a big goalie lover and I'm psyched that the Flames have such a promising goalie duo at the moment.

Found a pic of Mike Vernon in OG Blasty so he gets to be the final goalie of goalie week!
Starting tomorrow we only have 4 weeks left till the start of the NHL season!

Thought he did a pretty good job with the breakdown of the team heading into the new season

Any idea who these autographs are from? Thinking this was around 2010 ish or earlier

Detroit wings on the logo? CFL? That one took me a minute to realize it was Calgary FLames and not the Canadian Football League.
