truth is many commute to csus and if the university hopes to continue its growth that will need to come from both people living on campus and people commuting without a car.

Rather than "one more parking structure will fix it bro" the school should heavily lobby for the funding and expansion of sacRT (along with the construction of more apartments and improved walking and biking facilities surrounding the university).

The green, orange, and red lines shown here as potential BRT corridors would greatly expand the potential of the university. The university will need to build more classrooms which the space will have to come from somewhere, if a meaningful percent of commuters came on public transit that can open the surface parking lots as available land for new class halls.

Ik it's been said time and time again, but people really be zooming through. It's better to take your time looking both ways and have someone annoyed behind you than hit by some dumbass who decides they didn't need to be aware of other people driving in the structure.

Sometimes I feel silly for taking so long to make sure the way is clear but right as I thought it was today, I went to go and a second later someone zooms past. Glad I was able to brake with more than enough time.

Why haven’t they installed cameras into the parking structures? THOUSANDS of student cars are dinged, scratched, etc and we have no way to find who did it. It’s insane. Has this not been brought to the president? We pay so much money. Why isn’t there care for our personal vehicles?

Does anyone notice a persistent strong odor in Professor %#*strong’s class. I don’t know why it’s so strong.

I enrolled in classes for Fall 2026 last semester, and I was intentional with which professors I chose for classes. I noticed in the first week of instruction that two of my classes randomly switched professors, and I wasn’t aware. Does anyone know why this happened? The first pic is when I first enrolled & the second pic is after checking on the first week. My CRJ 123 & CRJ 130 had a change in professors.

I'm confused on the max credits per semester. Here, it says that the max is 18, but the petition is required for a course load in excess of 21 credits. Is this saying 21 is the max with a petition, or I need to petition to take more than 21? I feel like it's the latter, but then the 18 doesn't make sense. That would mean, if im not wrong, that I can take 18 max without petitioning, and if I want to take more than 21 I have to petition, but what about 19 and 20 credits? I might be missing something super obvious but please let me know.

Grad student here, I'm also a Quaker, is anyone else attending also a Quaker? I wanted to get to know others if there are any on campus. I'm feeling very lonely in my faith, and have been trying to re establish community in Sac since I just moved from the east.

So I got my diploma in the mail this week and I majored in Supply Chain Management, but my diploma says Marketing.
I know they’re in the same department and the classes are for the most part the same, but shouldn’t it say Supply Chain Management instead?
Any Spring 2026 grads or past graduates who majored in Supply Chain Management, can you clear this up? Did your diploma say Marketing too, or should I contact the school?

I'm a transfer student and my classes took forever to be evaluated by the registrar so my major took forever to go from pre to social work. When I inquired about 125A via email, the dept chair rejected my major declaration and said there's no room for adding more people to a class and that they will not be opening more classes. Ok... but why am I not allowed to declare my major now that my classes were finally posted and all my prereqs have been met? Is there someone else I can talk to? my advisor seems pretty busy that things are moving slow there too. Looks like I will be graduating in 3 years and not 2. Which is frustrating when it's posted all over the place that the school wants students to be graduating on time.

hi guys, i know this is way too early to ask this right now since this fall semester just started but i just transferred to csus from a cc, and i have to take psyc 8 and 9, since these are my only classes left to finish the pre-major requirements, and also bc at my cc, i tried to enroll in a psych 8 equivalent class but there was a glitch when i tried to enroll, so i decided to take it at csus. anyways my question is that if anyone was a pre-major before, how did u guys enroll in the upper division psych courses during registration day? did u had to ask the professor for consent and did the system ever block u from enrolling? im a bit nervous about that since this whole thing is confusing, and i would like to take some interesting upper division psych courses next semester, and did u guys had to register late after entering the major? thank u

How is his class? How can I pass it?

If stats 1 has a pre-req, why was I able to enroll in it until the professor themself told the class she’ll drop you in the course if you don’t show her proof that you’ve taken one of the pre-reqs? I had to drop and it affected my units and schedule pretty dramatically.
Typically if you don’t have the pre-reqs, you’re dropped before the semester starts so I didn’t expect this to happen? Is getting a pre-req waived an option here?
