Wrote a lightweight Python CLI to scan secrets in multi-GB cloud logs
Standard secret scanners choke on massive JSON log dumps or spam you with uncontextualized raw lines.
I built logSpecter to fix this for my own workflows:
JSON Path Tracking: Gives exact key coordinates (events[0].key) instead of useless raw line numbers.
Memory Safe: Streams line-by-line so RAM stays under 50MB on multi-GB files.
Regex + Entropy: Cuts noise by filtering out UUIDs and hashes.
SARIF Export: Ready for CI/CD pipelines.
Open source, zero bloat, and ready to use.
