I don't understand LSU's POV at all on this. Going to extreme lengths and provoking all out war with the league over two guys who got cut in mini-camp. We're not talking about All-Americans here, and they aren't going to propel them to being a national title contender. Why was this worth it?

The players sued for eligibilty, not LSU. LSU isn't even part of the case that was decided in court today. It was filed by over 40 athletes from multiple states.
