We used to be a proper corrupt state. We were corrupt but shit got done and people were taken care of.

What a time. I wish the mafia was still all over nola. Things would be safer for us normal people or maybe I could have joined the mob. Career advancement would be great with them

Ironically, I am directly related to a former crime family that ran new orleans. My great grand parents moved to Texas and changed the spelling of their last names to avoid being associated.

When my family moved back to Louisiana, my grandfather told me to never talk to someone that spelled their names the original way.

So yeah, I could of totally been a mobster.

Thats fantastic. For some reason my grandpa decided he didnt want to be a river boat pilot and shunned his family. 

If you arent aware, to become a riverboat pilot you have to be family or associated with one. So my grandpa basically said fuck to his kids and grandkids making half a mill driving boats and instead became a VP of dole fruit.
