They also must submit their roster 24 hours before their game, so by 7:30 tomorrow night. If they try to submit with deemed ineligible players I don't pretend to know what will happen, but probably nothing good for LSU.

yeah, I would assume so, and I definitely worded that wrong.

I know the non conference game will typically be officiated by the home team's conference refs, but I believe that is done at an individual game contract level, not member contract level. I assume things like the P4 non conference game requirement is member contract level since it was voted on by all the members.

I don’t think the referees really factor in. If the team is using an “ineligible player” then the conference or ncaa would be stepping in to enforce a punishment.

My best guess is they (SEC) would try to call LSU’s bluff - and if LSU does play one of these guys then may try to vacate the win after the fact? But that’s the nuclear option, have to think the conference and LSU will try to get on the same page

If LSU loses the pending Lawyer Wars (which could take a while), the NFL dropouts will be officially ineligible, which means the NCAA will vacate their 2026 wins. Of course, us Michigan fans are aware the more immediate punishment comes from the conference. So whatever the SEC votes for will happen, and then the legality of those punishments would be added to the Lawyer Wars.
