"I mean what am I gonna do? Jump up and start recruiting professional athletes to play college football for my team, like it's something to do? Come on, I have a little more sense than that.

Yeah, I remember recruiting professional athletes to play college football for my team."

Maybe the most accurate description of Lane.

Lane would wear a UNITY ring and slap someone with it

Kiffin: There's two things that turn me on - being a line stepper, and a 2 liter of diet dr pepper

I thought you are supposed to straddle the line? This seems like constantly crossing ever red line that is placed in front of him.

Honestly I think Al is responsible for Lane Kiffin.

He was the first coach to show any promise with us in years, so naturally Al had to get rid of him by breaking out the projector and embarrassing him (shitty do to a first time head coach).

And I don’t think Lane has respected authority or bothered caring about his image ever since.

Al Davis always had big time Palpatine vibes anyway lol

That guy has been a POS everywhere he has been.

Florida Atlantic is the only job he left on good terms. He couldn’t even leave on good terms at Alabama as their national championship winning OC.

He finally found a place as corrupt as him.

Match made in hell. Hope they all go up in flames.

He will be the governor before we know it

2

u/bigpoppa85 12h ago

I’m sure he is already calling the shots.

But, given Lane’s history, can you imagine how explosive this eventual divorce will be? The guy’s career is a total rollercoaster.

I honestly cannot think of a more talked about coach that has done as little ON THE FIELD. His Kardashian approach to coaching has certainly been professionally successful though 🤷🏻‍♂️

As terrible as this is I still hate the fake injury strategy he uses more. He has done only harm to the sport.

I’m so glad we dodged that bullet.

I mean, yes, but we all knew what we'd be getting into if we got him

2

Do we think he’d still be doing this at Ole Miss or has the LSU job gone to his head and made him ultra ridiculous?

Lane Kiffin is doing his thing. This is the result.

Dude is another poster boy for nepo babies. Dude would not have a career if it weren't for his father.
