This week, the ACC Commission approved a concept for the Linnentown "Walk of Recognition" to be installed on campus in a public right-of-way without UGA's support or participation.

Commissioners also required the owner of Pinewoods Estates to provide consistent access to clean drinking water before building any expansion of the neighborhood there.

I have no clue where to start resource wise with this question. I work downtown and I know a lot of other businesses / employees that work downtown struggle with parking. I did the math and I am paying anywhere from $120-$160 a month if I choose to park downtown while working. That’s INSANE. if you’re lucky enough to have a sneaky spot on a side road near downtown, you can’t count on always having it if there’s a game or other events. I don’t live close enough to walk to work on top of those things.

Ok so here’s my question- who is there to talk to about a potential pass/sticker/permit for downtown workers? I’m thinking if you are able to provide a W-2 or proof of employment downtown, it should be totally reasonable to be able to apply for a permit that you pay for yearly. I would be totally fine paying $100 give or take for a yearly permit to park downtown. I think a lot of other businesses / employees would be on board for something like this, right?

Where would I start or who would I talk to about this potential idea?

I find it odd that as far as I know he was never put on a missing person’s list anywhere. Usually, when someone goes missing they stay on the missing person’s lists until they are found. He’s not even on a list somewhere. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I’m not a member of his family, but my mother used to date his brother. All I know about his disappearance was that he was on his way home from work and never made it. He went missing around 1983 I believe.

Does anyone know the person/shop that sells this honey beeswax candle? It was sitting on my passed cat's ashes but my current cat got to it and tried to eat it. Im hoping to be able to purchase a new one.

The Pulaski/Prince intersection is frequently getting blocked by people driving into the intersection before they have a path all the way through. Then the light changes and no one can move. It's getting worse with the traffic increase. Who do I call about this? Thanks in advance.

A mid- to low-tier sit-down restaurant for a barbeque or authentic Mexican cuisine lover who is moderately-but-not-deathly allergic to cayenne pepper. Is that even an option? And if it's not, what else is available between here and Watkinsville that might have available seating a couple of hours after a game?

Like, if my aunt gets a few grains, it's gonna be a huge bummer, might even be a trip to the emergency room if she swells too badly, but it's not likely to actually kill her. So I'm looking for an establishment with a mindful chef and staff instead of a hospital-precise clean room. Or an establishment that simply doesn't use cayenne pepper.
