I had a very similar experience. My now husband had to help me get in and get out of the shower and I remember shaking and sobbing anticipating how cold it would be to get into bed.

I also would lay there, feeling just about dead, thinking “I need to drink water” and would have fever dreams of me going to the kitchen to fill my water and drink it.

I’m pretty sure it’s the reason I developed terrible migraines and (suspected and awaiting testing) POTS.

Yes, the rise in POTS is related to covid infections

I'm so sorry. It also utterly kicked my ass, but it would have been magnitudes worse if I hadn't bought a heated mattress pad months before. Even in the dead of winter I put that thing at about a 3/10 heat setting at most, but through the worst of covid I kept it on 7/8 and rarely turned it off.
