I got Covid right around that time too. 3 days of random mild nausea and then I felt like I got hit by a bus and almost collapsed getting out of bed the 4th day, I was also healing a new tattoo so that was another layer of hell. It took me a good 3 months to stop getting winded going up a flight of stairs.
Also got covid right before Christmas - tested positive on the 21st. My birthday is the 22nd so it sucked extra hard. My birthday cake and my family's traditional Christmas lasagna both tasted like nothing.
I got that 2nd strain of covid where you wanted to jump out of your skin. I was so sick that was awful. I got a shot again for the 3rd strain and promptly got Covid again. Got the vax again and got Covid for a 3rd time. Stopped getting vaxxed, no Covid since. Hmm

Got COVID right before Christmas '22 and holy shit was I miserable. No taste, no smell. Christmas dinner tasted like cardboard.
