My hangover from drinking too much Southern Comfort. I puked bile and felt like my toenails came up with it.

Not SoCo, but alcohol and someone must have spiked my drink. I ended up in the middle of nowhere Northern Neck Virginia. I called my ex boyfriend who lived in Arizona to help me. 🙄 I had gotten ride to the party location so I just walked off I guess. Maybe dropped off? No clue. I was sick for 3 days, vomiting, diarrhea, couldn't eat, couldn't keep medicine down. I never heard from the girl I went to the party with again. I was 23 or so.

I only remember having one beer and then walking on a dirt road trying to find a street sign. I don't know what happened in between. I don't know if I was assaulted. I didn't feel bruised or sore or anything in my pelvic area.

God I’m so sorry you experienced this

My very first hangover, I was sitting outside my friends apartment to get some air and then I started puking straight up clear alcohol on the sidewalk. The church across the street was just letting out.

I was more careful with drinking after that and today don't drink at all.

Uhh the hangover from time I got roofied was soo fucking bad. Thankfully some girls got me back my dorm so nothing horrible happened to me that night. But even as an alcoholic at a young age I was soo sick that morning off like a beer a 2 shots (and whatever exactly was slipped in one of those drinks). Like couldnt even stand in the shower and just gave 0 fucks that it gross it kneel it (shared dorm shower), at least was smart enough to not flat out sit/lie down though in there.

I hear you. Being nauseated for a bunch of days makes you realize what people fighting cancer must be going through.

Was roofied on my 30th birthday and luckily had my partner and good friends to help me get home. I remember walking toward the car (was a passenger both ways, no worries there) and then nothing for almost 16 hours. Woke up the afternoon of the next day in totally different clothes that my partner had dressed me in because I’d apparently been vomiting all night. I guess he thought I was just blackout drunk, but I’d had like five drinks over more than five hours, most of them small glasses of mead, no shots, no cocktails since dinner which was first thing in the evening, and not to make light but I’ve been very, very dangerously drunk before and it would take a hell of a lot more than that to do it. Just so thankful I had people with me.

Southern Comfort is pure evil. Worst hangover I ever had.

Ugh. SoCo is the only thing that ever made me puke like a rotating lawn sprinkler. And of course I'd always go back for more because I was a dumbass teenager.

Once was enough.

Once was more than enough for me though.

I got drunk on it once and the hangover was hell. I swear I could smell it oozing out of my pores. Still can't smell it without feeling nauseous.

I’m this way with tequila. Can’t even stand the smell now.

An old college friend of mine used to make his own alcohol. For my birthday in 2011, he gifted me a bottle of home made honey mead. I was an inexperienced drinker. I was only 19, and I drank the whole bottle in one night. I remember absolutely nothing. I was violently sick for three days afterward. I was on campus but skipped all of my classes for three days because I was constantly puking in the bathrooms. I have not had a single sip of mead since.

That shit is so dangerous if youre not prepared. It doesnt taste like alcohol, it just tastes like delicious. But it can be pretty strong so its so easy to just pound it back without thinking about it. Me & my partner drink a ton of it and we have to remind ourselves its a sippin' drink.

I gave up drinking two years ago but gave up Southern Comfort years before that. The last time I threw up from drinking was SoCo and the thought of it still makes me sick. Same with Goldschlagger.

Holy shit i had the same exact experience. Soco and everything.

u/reppoc0308 10h ago

I did this too! Thinking about SoCo makes me gag.

Southern Comfort was my absolute worst hangover.

Southern Comfort is the devils handy work. 🤮Never again.

I recall my first multi-day hangover. I can't bring myself to stomach red wine anymore.

Yep. Played a drinking game freshman year of college-7 shots of So Co in a very short period of time. 30 years later I can still smell and taste it sometimes.
