When I was 12 I my appendix almost burst. I spent 2 days in extreme agony because my father thought I was exaggerating. Doctors told me I was very close to having a severe infection since it was so close to rupturing when they took it out.
Mine burst. I didn’t go to the hospital until I turned yellow from jaundice. I was in surgery immediately upon arrival and stayed for 10 days. Grateful to be alive.
Mine burst while I was being wheeled into surgery. I will never forget it. From 10/10 pain to 100/10 in one second. I literally felt it explode and one second later started vomiting green bile.
They removed it what was left of it, superglued me back together and I was home within two days.
Are you me?? I was also 12 and told to “walk it off”. By the time I finally went to the hospital I had GANGRENE. Somehow miraculously didn’t burst so I only had to stay in one night. When they say that you just Know when something is really wrong, it’s correct. I somehow just knew deeply something was terribly wrong on a Sunday night before the pain was even bad but wasn’t taken to the hospital til Tuesday.
mine burst. hospital 16 days. peritonitis. They told my parents I might die because there was a bowel obstruction due to the peritonitis. Terrible sick. Lost 20 pounds.
