Just wanted to post this here, I was packing when everyones phones went off, not even 20 seconds later managers sounded on the Pa system that there’s a shelter in place, ended up spending 40 mins grouped like sardines in the middle of the startup area waiting for the storm to pass lmao. Then after my shift, I came home to find my parking bay absolutely destroyed by a fallen tree. Was a crazy ass day today, and its wild to think that if I would’ve left early today or taken VTO, my car probably would have been totaled. Stay safe out there AA’s✌🏾

My fellow packers how tf do you avoid soaking your gloves with the tape machine? I'm rotating between two pairs rn but like after an hour they are noticeably wet and making my hands gross and wrinkly.

Hey guys, looking for some advice or to hear some suggestions on what I should pick or idk just some advice 💁🏾‍♀️ I was recently terminated for being 4 hours negative on UPT, but it stems from a system issue/manager error. Right before sort, an Operations Manager VTO’d me and told me not to clock in, saying she would delete my shift. The next day, I noticed I was negative. I brought it to her attention, and she told me she fixed it on her end, adding that if it didn't update, we'd talk to HR. My Area Manager was also aware and reached out to HR on my behalf (our site HR recently moved off-site). Despite all of that and brought up before the termination, I ended up getting fired anyway. What makes it even worse. I was literally just accepted for a full-time position at my site, set to start on the 13th. On-site HR told me after the termination that I should definitely appeal because it sounds like it’s worth it. And should give it a go. Idk what you guys think?

If you come in late and am is offering instant vto on site, will upt still be deducted if you take it and get scanned out?

I start a seasonal position at a Warehouse in a couple of days. I had also applied to the new Prime air ground handler position and was recently called by the recruiter. Can I start at the warehouse and later quit?
Or would I have to give up the warehouse job?

I drive the PIT order picker that goes up and sometimes I have a hard time keeping it above 20 uph, especially when I’m assigned to VNAs and other times I blow past 40 when I’m assigned to bulk. This is important to me because according to an L6 in order to have a chance at blue badge you need good performance as well as tenure

So funny enough I recently posted a question about work headphones. Didn’t see this coming lol. So! As stated the emails were in my junk file and I didn’t know about them. I’m on hold with HR and I doubt I’ll be speaking to anyone so what’re my best options? Do I have a chance at getting my job back or am I waiting the 3 months of shame to reapply?

I’ve never gotten a point or write up to my knowledge before this. I know I did this to myself so I’m only chuckling at my stupidity at the moment.

Does it renews back to 12 weeks at the beginning of each calendar year? Or does it renews back a year after the approved ploa?

For example: I got approved to unpaid leave on Oct 7-21,2026. I would be left with 10 weeks of unpaid leave on this year.

Thus, does it renew back to 12 weeks on January 1st, 2027 or October 7, 2027?
The policy got me confused.

My schedule looks like this right now. My manager made an accommodation for me to change to Wed-Sat for religious reasons, so I don’t have to work on Sunday. I wanted the donut shift but this is alright I guess. However, this was right before Labor Day AND my app updated it like this. I haven’t been able to get anywhere with MyHR or our Site’s HR. Do I just show up every single day next week? What if I wanted VET?

So I recently moved into flex and I find it a little hard on the 4 hour minimum a week when there’s 3.45 hrs shifts. Does that still count as 4 hrs or will I get points? Asking cuz I need to be out of the country for a few weeks and I do have pto to cover it up just stressed on how exactly it works and want to learn more about it. lol sorry if I sound uneducated I’m just genuinely lost

Ive been putting in quite a few MLOAs recently and I haven't had any issues with them for the most part, I just take a picture of my paper doctor's note and and attach it, however the one time I take a screenshot off Mychart for a note, the case is still "open" however this was a month ago, so I'm just wondering is there anything I should be worried about? I haven't heard from HR or anything about it but it says the case is still open, just a little confused any thoughts?
