Why don’t you go there and ask for yourself?

No one in the area wants conflict.

The polish people and neighboring countries have been attack from both sides east and west for nearly a thousand years. You don’t fight Russia. Russia shouldn’t fight its neighbors.

Yet here we are. When I lived in Poland it wasn’t uncommon for Russia to shut off gas deliveries in winter and the people have just become accustomed to it. I honestly don’t think it’s malicious it’s just Soviet area infrastructure being held together with 40 years of bandaids.

Don’t assume malice in what can otherwise be explained by incompetence
