They blew up another shopping mall in the middle of the day in Kharkiv late last week. They hit a children's hospital with absolutely no military targets anywhere close to it in Kyiv, 2024. Multiple KH-101 missiles hit it accurate to 50 meters. They blow up our power and water and heating infrastructure constantly and especially in early winter so we freeze. They shot cluster munitions into the train station in Kramatorsk in 2022, killing more than 60 civilians. They have been blowing up individual gas stations across the country for years. They ... Well, you hopefully get it.

This entire war after the first few days has been a terror campaign to drain Ukrainians from the country and into Europe to destabilize it. And those who stay behind are to be raped, tortured, and murdered, or conscripted to fight their next war.

Yup! Ukraine specifically targeted refineries after hours (so there were less casualties), while Russia has targeted hospitals and schools and city centers in broad daylight while people were there purposefully targeting people.

The U.S. striking the Iranian leadership and their military used to support terrorism around the region was the right thing to do.

I get that you people don’t like Israel, but Iran funding all these terror networks attacking civilians is what gives Israel the excuse to continue bombings.

Trump is trying to take it all off the table so the fighting stops, and if Israel acts out from there, they will have no excuse.

If you think freedom of speech has been dead for awhile, then you probably think websites and people shutting you down for saying things was an infringement, which has nothing to do with freedom of speech. There's a lovely xkcd for this, freedom of speech means the government won't act on you for saying shit. (hatespeech is not protected... and it's funny how in modern times hatespeech is more allowed by the administration than people speaking out against it) it does not protect you from communities saying what you say is bad or bannable.

No? the Biden administration tried to put down false things, like people calling covid a hoax, and stuff like that... and rather focus on the actual science and truth, like from the cd and even international sources... they were only telling people to stop giving false "cures", "hoax" controversies, etc.

it didn't put people in jail or sue them, it pressured social media and got aggressive when they refused to stop literal misinformation... it didn't sue people, it sued social media companies for proliferation of actual misinformation... and also warn against disinformation. current administration is suing individuals for lying when they're not and worse...

They bombed a theater in Mariupol in the opening days of the war with hundreds of kids in it, it was clearly labeled that there were kids in it. They did it anyway.

And then they put up walls around it with pictures of what it looked like before while they demolished and rebuilt it. It is now once again a theater, but the kids are all in a dump some where and the families will now never get closure.

Indeed. And I came over here slightly skeptical. But I walked past that hospital numerous times and the only way, and the only thing to hit, was aiming for it. I can say that with firsthand experience. It's undeniable they did it on purpose.

And I still remember the day and time: 10:30am on a Sunday morning if my brain hasn't turned to mush. They did that on purpose. It was a catalyst for me and what I'm doing now.

He was doing so to destroy the will of the Ukrainians to defend their nation after his own army suffered massive humiliation. Your challenging political parties (at least in Germany, France, and obviously the US) use it for propaganda. Not to mention what's happening in Poland atm. And I'm sure it will get worse if another ~4mm people cross the border because Kyiv and Lviv end up being unlivable for families. They already emptied out half of Kharkiv; they could try the same in those places and it seems like they are already in Kyiv.

It's not so much visually as culturally. They share many of the same cultural values as many Western countries and are able to assimilate without much friction, assuming they speak the language. The same is not true for many other countries' refugees.

They were invaded by a dictator controlling one of the most powerful militaries on the planet who is actively threatening half of Europe; most immigrants to Europe are fleeing civil wars.

To be fair, there's also some level of "zero fucks" given in the building and deployment of these weapons to factor in.

One of the reasons they love glide bombs is because the bomber does not need to leave Russian airspace because the bombs glide safely out of the country before they have a chance to hit a target. Otherwise you might have way more in-country friendly-fire deaths than they already do.

Even if you counted up the wasted strikes that missed any target you probably wouldn't accurately come up with a big enough % factor of errors. Once you do have that factor though, it likely still doesn't cover a minor portion of recent Russian crimes?

Question… Zelensky was an actor who turned to politics. No one ever imagined he’d be a military leader like this. What is the feeling amongst Ukrainians still in the Ukraine about him as a leader now? He’s got to be nearing the end of a term limit by now? Or passed it? Is he just going to keep at it until it’s over? Is it even possible to hold elections properly anymore? He’s got a lot of respect from the international community. But I have no idea what actual Ukrainians think of him
