LOOKING FOR BUDDIES 🚀 Looking for a few new programmer buddies!

We have a small, active programmers group that's more like a circle of coding friends than a big community.

What we do:

  • Share our daily coding progress
  • Discuss DSA, web development, projects, and tech
  • Help each other when we're stuck
  • Collaborate and keep each other consistent

There are no formal rules or strict hierarchy—we're just people who enjoy programming and learning together. Beginners and experienced programmers are both welcome as long as you're active and respectful.

If you're interested, DM me a short introduction (what you're learning, your experience level, and your goals).

Always happy to meet more coding friends. 💻

Lets build projects together which eventually lead to a startup

Upvotes

Hey folks! 👋

Whether you’re a college student, self-taught developer, designer, or just someone who enjoys building things — I’m looking to connect with a few people in Bangalore to work on startup/side project ideas together.

The idea is simple:
Build cool stuff, learn along the way, and meet like-minded people locally.

If things work out, awesome 🚀
If not, we still end up with:
\- Real projects
\- Practical experience
\- Better portfolios/resumes
\- And a strong network of builders in Bangalore

I’ve been in the industry for around 4 years, so I can help with things like deployment, engineering workflows, scaling, and shipping products in the real world.

If this sounds interesting, drop your:
\- GitHub
\- LinkedIn
\- Portfolio
\- Or anything you’re proud of building

Let’s make something fun together 🤝

Looking for a person to study DSA in C++

Looking for a Study Partner/Group for DSA in C++ 🚀

Hey everyone! 👋

I am looking for a few people who are interested in studying Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) using C++ together.

I am planning to follow the Apna College DSA in C++ playlist and practice coding problems alongside the concepts we learn.

Beginners are absolutely welcome! You don't need to already know DSA. The goal is to learn together, stay consistent, help each other with doubts, and practice regularly.

What we can do:

  • 📚 Follow the Apna College DSA playlist
  • 💻 Practice coding problems together
  • 🤝 Help each other with doubts
  • 🧠 Discuss different approaches and solutions
  • 📅 Stay consistent with a regular study schedule

Important: I am generally available after 9:00 PM (IST), so I am looking for people who can study around that time.

I'm also a learner, so this is not a teaching group. We can learn, practice, and improve together.

If you're interested in starting DSA in C++ and want study partners to stay consistent with, feel free to join! 🚀

Beginners are welcome. Let's learn together and become better problem solvers!

Looking for people to help with coding project

I'm trying to get better at reviewing Python code and explaining potential improvements clearly.

If you're currently learning Python and have a project you'd like feedback on, I'd be interested in taking a look. I'm happy to discuss things such as readability, organization, Python best practices, bugs, or alternative approaches.

If you have a project you're currently working on, feel free to post the relevant code here and explain what you're trying to accomplish or where you're having trouble. I'll do my best to provide constructive feedback and explain the reasoning behind any suggestions.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for a serious study buddy for placement prep. IST

Hey! I'm a final-year CSE student preparing for placements, and I'm looking for someone who'd be interested in doing daily study sessions.

The idea is simple: we'll both study our own stuff, but stay on call for accountability/company. I'll mostly be solving DSA and preparing for placements.

I'm planning to study around 9 PM - 12 AM IST most days.

Looking for someone who's genuinely serious about studying and can be consistent. No need to constantly talk, we can just stay on call and focus.

If you're interested, DM me

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES CS student looking for people who want to build difficult things together

Hey, I'm Benjamin, 23, from Chile.

I'm looking for other programmers around my age who want to work on projects that are a little more ambitious than another tutorial app.

I've been spending most of my time lately on cryptography and computational research. I started with public cryptographic challenges and eventually ended up building solvers, experiment infrastructure, exact verifiers, representation-search systems, etc.

Here's some of it:
https://github.com/benjacasas02/independent-cryptography-research

I'm not necessarily looking for someone to work on this exact repo.

Mostly I'd like to meet other people who enjoy getting obsessed with technical problems and figuring things out from scratch.

Things I'd be interested in building around:

  • cryptography / security
  • AI research tools
  • reverse engineering
  • developer tools
  • weird algorithms
  • scientific software
  • genuinely new startup ideas

Python/TS are what I've been using a lot lately, but language doesn't really matter.

If this sounds like you, show me something you've built or tell me what problem you're currently obsessed with.

STUDY PARTNER 2nd year student looking for a study partner — Java Backend + DSA

2nd year student looking for a study partner — Java Backend + DSA

Hey everyone!

I'm a 2nd-year engineering student looking for someone who is also serious about improving their programming skills and wants a study partner.

My current focus is:

- Java + Backend Development

- DSA

- SQL / DBMS

- Building projects

- Consistent daily practice

I'm looking for someone around the same level who actually wants to study consistently, discuss problems, share resources, do coding sessions, and keep each other accountable.

I'm not looking for someone who expects the other person to teach them everything. The idea is simply to learn together and stay consistent.

If you're also a 2nd-year student working towards internships/placements and interested in Java Backend + DSA, feel free to DM me.

Timezone: IST 🇮🇳

We can start with a small study session and see if we're a good fit.

Looking for other devs/sales people to build random stuff with

I'm 19, self-taught, and I've been coding for about a year. I've learned a decent amount, started my own little web agency, and honestly most of what I do these days is just learn, build stuff, sleep, and occasionally game (which I recently deleted because I really need to get my shit together lol).

Right now I'm kind of stuck.

I don't have a job, don't have much money, and I haven't really seen the results I hoped for yet. But I still have big dreams and I'm trying to figure shit out instead of giving up.

So I'm looking for some people who are developers, designers, sales people, entrepreneurs, or honestly just people who like building things.

You don't have to be some expert. I'd genuinely be happy to have people to:

  • check each other's websites/projects
  • work on random projects together
  • teach each other things
  • brainstorm ideas
  • talk about business/dev
  • or just spend some time building something fun

I don't have much to offer financially right now. I recently got GPT Pro though, so if you have some heavy/repetitive work, research, coding, or project stuff where AI could help, I'm happy to help out. And hopefully I can be useful to you in other ways too.

I don't really know where this is going. I'm just trying to build something with what I've got and survive this slightly crazy phase of life.

If you're in a similar position or just want someone to build shit with, feel free to comment or DM.

OFFERING TO MENTOR Offering mentorship/in MERN Stack & Flutter

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to mentor a few people who are currently working on a project using the MERN stack or Flutter and have reached a point where they could use some guidance.

A little about me — I’ve been working with MERN, Flutter and related technologies for around 3-4 years, and I’ve also spent some time working with DevOps and deployment/infrastructure.

I’m particularly interested in helping people who are already building something rather than someone who is just looking to learn a technology from scratch. I can help with things like:

  • Architecture and project structure
  • Debugging and figuring out why something isn't working
  • Best practices and code quality
  • Backend/API design
  • Database design
  • Authentication and security
  • Deployment and DevOps
  • Reviewing your existing code and suggesting improvements
  • Helping you think through technical decisions and trade-offs

What I’m looking for:

Someone who is genuinely serious about their project and willing to put in the work. You don't need to be an expert, but I'd prefer someone who has already started building and is willing to try things themselves before asking for help.

I'm not looking to spoon-feed solutions. The goal would be to help you become better at understanding and solving problems independently.

Bonus if you're in the UTC+5:30 timezone (India/Sri Lanka) since coordinating calls/messages will be easier, but it's not a requirement.

If you're currently building something and think this could be useful, comment or DM me with a brief description of your project, what you're stuck on, and what you're hoping to build.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for Active Python Learners to Grow Together

I’ve joined a lot of coding communities looking for people to learn Python with but most have hundreds of members and barely anyone is actually active! So I decided to create our group focused on people who actually want to learn together ask questions help each other work on projects compare code and push each other to improve

We’re around 10 people right now and honestly I’d rather have 10, 15 or 20 active members than 500 inactive! If you’re learning Python and you’re ready to introduce yourself to the group participate and actually learn with us you’re more than welcome

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for a Python mentor /study buddy (Total beginner)

Hello, everyone. I'm a 23F. I've just started learning Python. I've absolutely zero background in coding/programming.

I also don't know exactly what I'm going to do with Python, but I'm still learning. Mainly, the thing that encouraged me to learn Python was because I want to learn localization engineering (for games) and advanced prompt engineering, so I thought I'd give Python a shot.

I'd like a mentor (preferably females), because sometimes I get small questions and get stuck with figuring my way around the programs.

Also if you're just starting as I'm, you can dm :)

I don't follow a specific course, but I'm currently watching multiple courses on YouTube, including Bro Code.

Edit: thanks to all the nice people on this subreddit :) and thanks to everyone who contacted me.
