Is Terry Crews one of those like Dolly, Keanu, Brendan, where has no haters? I don’t recall anyone saying anything bad about him.

If I remember correctly, his son wanted to get into PC gaming, but instead of just buying him one, he built a PC together with his son so they could bond over that. What a man

Is it weird if I want terry Crews as my dad so we can build a pc together? For context I’m in my 30s and not really interested in the technical side of computers.

you don't need Terry Crews to help you, you can just build your own any time my friend. Maybe take some time watching videos of other people building them, and read a lot on r/buildapc or similar subreddits.

I think they really want Terry to be their dad. Right u/dotherandymarsh ?

Terry is only ten years older than me and I want him to be my dad ❤️

Probably because he is great. He is one of the rare celebrities I like to hear talking. He seems so nice and thoughtful.

He wasn't a very good president, but he tried his best.

How dare you disrespect President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho!

He got the help of an expert and tried to fix stuff. I would vote for him.

It’s got electrolytes.

Supporting amazon against workers was pretty shitty honestly.

Denies using steroids which some people have beef with. I still like him.

He has an absolute ton of haters on twitter. Complaints usually seem to centre on him forgetting about the black community and pandering to white people, or something.

He's a devout Christian that spouts the usual nonsense arguments. I think he's perpetuated some silly ideas religiously and politically.

Kind of a negative for me, but not really anything that puts him on the shit list. In general, seems like a cool guy that cares

Dolly was religious too right? I dont have an issue with people holding religious beliefs as long as they keep them to themselves.

4

u/daxeis 18h ago

When you post on Twitter about how stupid evolution is cause monkeys still exist

It's kind of a negative and personally I lose a bit of respect.

So yeah not really a big thing. Literally the worst thing I know about him and that is so low it's not really a big deal

I feel like you are conflating religiousness with just general science illiteracy and arrogance but, despite the fact they come as a package deal in a lot if not most of religious people. Its not the same

5

u/daxeis 18h ago

He is highly religious though. And that's the kind of comment that devout Christians make when arguing against evolution and science.

It's one of those looks a duck, quacks like a duck situations. Yeah he isn't like gungho teach Bible in school, but spreading bad faith and bad science isn't something to role model.

Oh I didn't know he did that. I was not contesting your claim. I dont follow celebrities in social media

I didn’t appreciate his “black on black crime” comments during the discourse about Trayvon Martin. I think it was Trayvon, but it could’ve been one of the other murders of young black men. Anyway, he said that “black on black crime” is a bigger problem. Basically bolstering that myth and putting wind into the sails of racists who perpetuate that myth. They were practically frothing at the mouth reposting and sharing what a BLACK man said. Ugh.

It bothered me so much that I sent him a message on IG that I’m sure he never read. It wasn’t a rude message, but I did send him some facts about the issue.

well he had few haters in the black community for some comments

u/GreatMight 16h ago

The very bad comedian Godfrey hates him.

Celebrity worship is weird.

He did do a promotional advert for Amazon’s warehouses, but then again, Terry needs to eat, and why not him? My man can do corporate propaganda.

I couldve sworn people said he was maga or in the very least, homophobic?

3

u/ucankickrocks 19h ago

He may be a centrist but not maga. I wonder if the homophobic stuff you heard is because he was assaulted at a party by a man and sued over it.

3

u/SecondEqual4680 19h ago

I remember people were saying he was homophobic some years ago, but I never looked into it. Good to know he isnt!

1

u/luluzulu_ 3h ago

AFAIK the homophobic stuff is from when he said that gay people are worse parents than straight people because a child needs a male parent and a female parent.

1

u/jonnybebad5436 10h ago

He’s Christian and has some conservative beliefs but I don’t think he’s full blown MAGA. I remember to Reddit talking crap about him because of his beliefs

u/Snoo_67548 18h ago

I LOVE him. I would put him in the same category with those people.

I was hoping someone else was thinking this! Ever since Dolly passed I’ve been racking my brain as to who was left that is like.. truly wholesome and inspiring and non-problematic and came up short. But we have Terry!
