You're throwing a lot of big words at me that I don't understand so I'm going to take that as disrespect

Always thought it was "clapped up", because he does the hand motion like he's knocking erasers together.

"Today's forecast? Dark and cloudy with chance of drive-by."

Trivia: Shelley Malil (that actor) for convicted of attempted murder for stabbing his ex-girlfriend more than 20 times.

Got 12 to life, served eight, was paroled.

I watched a trial where a man tried to represent himself against a rape charge. "A lot of words will be put forth. Big words. Educated words. Words some of us might not understand."

I played that section back three times because I couldn’t believe it.

This exact line went through my head listening to the judges speech so... I guess I'm the one lacking cognitive ability.

Weird memory - seeing that scene for the first time and immediately losing 5% of my faith in humanity as I realised there are definitely people that incurably stupid out there.

I had an ex like this and I didn’t realize what a decent number of our arguments were about until years later.

“Why the fuck would you say that to me!? Do you know how fucking pretentious you sound???”

“Uh, I don’t think that’s pretentious…? What’s wrong with using that word?”

“It’s condescending! Can you think of any other way to say that that’s not pretentious and condescending!?”

(Well, if I say it in smaller words I think it sounds worse so I’m not gonna say anything…)
