Question Has anyone actually got language module confirmations??

This is the second year in a row I am having issues with the language centre confirming my modules, only that this year I need to sort something sooner rather than later which is why I'm asking if anyone has heard back. As of today all my modules except the language module I was placed on have been confirmed.

I received an email confirming I was allocated the placeholder module back in April, stating that they expect the timetable should be published early August.

Fast forward to last week, when I got another email and expected module confirmation, but it was just the same thing. Apparently the module was added to my student record but that is not proof of enrolment on the module.

Has anyone actually gotten placed on their language modules yet for this academic year? I need to sort out a timetable issue, but cannot do this until I have all my modules confirmed, and I want to know how much longer I should expect to be waiting.

CAS??

I recently received an update from the admissions team confirming that my offer is now unconditional and my offer letter will be processed within 24 hours. I had a couple of questions:

1. How long did it take for you to receive your CAS after getting your unconditional offer?

  1. Did you need to message king’s apply regarding your CAS or was it issued automatically? The message mentioned that the visa team would be in touch if I needed a CAS. I’ve already indicated in the student visa section that I require one so I’m unsure whether I should message them or just wait.

angel lane/stratford oyster card

Hey, I’ll be living at angel lane this year and I’m wondering what the most cost effective option for public transport. Would you recommend getting a student oyster card and a monthly zone 1-2 travel card or a normal one and linking a railcard to it and paying as you go.

Kcl access pass email

Apparently KCL have sent an email about an access pass or something, but I’ve still yet to receive it. I’ve also heard others talking about getting an email about e-learning. I thought it was just the two training things on Student Records that we had to complete which I’ve already done.

Qualification check

Dear KCL applicants, I would like to say that Qualification Check for me took around 17 days, I had to message kings through apply.kcl , send them the screenshot of Qualification Check Verified my documents. This had delayed me to get CAS and then ATAS and now Visa. Iam waiting for my Visa as I already received my CAS and ATAS . Best of luck to all applicants, if you want to reach out DM me , feel free to DM me

Accommodation Accommodation essentials

Hi all,

I’ve just booked a bronze studio at Atlas.

What kind of things would I need to bring? I’m planning on bringing my own cleaning supplies. I know other universities supply a vacuum per flat - do they do this with Kings? If not I’ll be happy to bring my own.

Many thanks for any tips :)

Applied late for KCL MSc (early Aug) – Still "Received and being processed" & term starts in 3 weeks. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hey everyone,
I'm getting a bit anxious and wanted to see if anyone is in a similar position with King’s College London for the upcoming 2026 intake.
Here’s my timeline:
Applied: ~August 6th
Fee Status Process: Got sent the fee status questionnaire, submitted it, and had my Home fee status officially confirmed on August 28th.
Current Status: Still waiting, application is pending/under assessment.
Since today is September 2nd and classes start in less than a month, the waiting game is getting pretty nerve-wracking. They said we will get back to you with in due course with a decision.
A few specific questions for those who have been through this or are currently waiting:
1. Late decisions: Is it too late at this point to get an offer, or do they regularly send out admissions this close to the start date?
2. Home status impact: Does having Home fee status speed up or positively affect late-stage processing, or does it not make much of a difference for admissions velocity?
3. Decision days: Do KCL admissions typically release decisions/offers on Fridays, or do they drop results throughout the week (Monday–Thursday as well)?
If anyone who applied this late is still waiting—or has received a late offer in previous cycles—I’d really appreciate hearing your experience. The uncertainty at this stage is brutal!
