I remember when publicly traded firms could just say the word “cloud” and their stock price would surge.

they're trying to replace that with "AI", it doesn't seem to be having the same effect, fortunately

lol...that isn't how it works. publicly traded firms don't control their stock price. Wall St. actors do.

The price isn't surging because they said "cloud". That's just how its being explained to people who don't understand how the market works. Its the same with Ai. Those prices are moving where they are because someone needs them to move where they are. The news stories are just bullshit cover.
