That’s literally 30 minutes a day. Absolutely insane.

I watched a lot of infomercials in the 90s. In only 30 minutes a day you can:

  • Get abs

  • Jazzercise or Sweat to the Oldies

  • Shape your body with home resistance training

  • Learn a new language

  • Learn to speed read

  • Learn to play an instrument via CD-ROM instruction

  • Organize clutter

  • Meal prep

If it's enough time to do that, it's adequate time for gaming.

With Game Pass Ultimate, you can finish your daily gaming chores in 30 minutes or less! Don’t wait, call now!

Im sure it also doesnt count time spent not playing but in a game. Like setting at a menu screen. Imagine forgetting to close the game down when you went to grab good or change laundry or something and you burn all your gaming time without playing

I have 224K gamer score. Never used cloud gaming once.

I just realized this is literally if you don’t own gaming hardware. Makes more sense, but that’s still a laughably small time allotment if you’re a gamer. But then again, if you’re a gamer you probably own something to play games on… kind of a weird niche.

Nah, not long ago they were pushing it as being functional on smart TVs. My Samsung has it. To go from hey you don’t need a console to pay more than a dollar an hour is certainly a change in direction.

The money guys in charge want cloud gaming to be the mainstream way of gaming, so stuff like this is really bad no matter what.

I use it to see if a game is worth downloading. Maybe play 30-60 minutes and decide.

About 188K odd gamer score (~160K before marriage and ~180K before kids). I used cloud gaming once.

and I bet most of the people complaining are the same as you. Most people with a console will not use more than 15 hours streaming, if 2 hours of stream.

Streaming will be tied to a sub of its own for people without hardware.

I see no issue with this. they are trying to make xbox profitable but of course people will see it as greedy and then those same people will whine when xbox goes under because they are not "greedy" enough and lose too much money.

Seems like they're successfully killing the Xbox, just a long off ramp to try and siphone off as much money as possible.

how is changing cloud gaming, a feature that hardly anyone uses, killing Xbox. stop being so melodramatic.

Reading comprehension is hard?

In nearly 200K of gamerscore, I used cloud gaming once. This comes off complaining to you?

If anything, the message was that cloud gaming felt so sub-par I didn't use it a second time but I'm guessing nuance is wasted here.

that is literally what I said. So talk about reading comprehension.

I said most people complaining are like you, hardly ever used it.

I wasn't complaining. Again, your reading comprehension is lacking which reflects on the sad state of affairs as far as your schooling system goes.

that is literally what I said. So talk about reading comprehension.

I guess we can add written comprehension to the mix.

I said most people complaining are like you, hardly ever used it.

The only one whining in this thread is you.

omg what the hell is wrong with you. You are complaining about reading comprehension and you continue to not understand.

in no point did I say you where whining.

let me help in all caps

I AM SAYING THAT LIKE YOU, MOST PEOPLE DON'T USE CLOUD AND MANY OF THOSE PEOPLE NOT YOU (DO YOU GET THAT NOW) ARE THE ONES COMPLAINING, PEOPLE THAT DONT USE CLOUD.

does that help?
