You can try game before downloading it to save time. Also you can play on phone anywhere.

I've used cloud gaming only if I'm sitting in a different room than my Xbox or my PC and want to play a game using my iPad and a controller. Otherwise I just download the game.

I use it to play a game on game pass like a demo. If I enjoy the game and am playing after 30-60 minutes, I will download the game to the console.

There are those depending on the cloud gaming service, but I see no problem myself or for the vast majority of players. I see everyone going off on the “you will own nothing” thing which is legitimate but this is not the right hill to fight on..

I use Amazon's  Luna sometimes to do couch gaming with my wife. For example they had dispatch on their recently so we played that.

It is really useful. My old xbox is a bit knackered and takes ages to start games from the xbox. I mean like 15minutes. Cloud gaming is almost instant, and I think I can play games which are for later gen xboxes.

On the one hand I guess I will now need a new one, in the other hand, maybe this is when I stop gaming.

Just hearing the idea of gaming via cloud made me wince. Stopped keeping up with gaming around 2012. Give me physical any day. Only gave in to Steam for Halo MCC, higher frames and mods and all that.

My internet is too slow to even consider anything 100% cloud based.

Oh don't worry, I have a fast Internet connection and it's still unplayably laggy for me.
