Orange status exists for a reason. (Irl Example) If I'm hanging out with friends irl and someone texts me to hangout I too will either not respond or say that I'm busy, this outing does not involve you. We make a lot of friends on the internet and we just believe at face value that this person that has given us a persona will be our ride or die just because we both like Binding of Isaac or something. I don't like to think of myself as a pessimist but more of a realist. People that I've known online for many years I never consider that they will be with me forever or take a virtual bullet for me, I don't know them. Not everyone wants to open their doors all the time. Some may have a tightknit friend group that is their separate circle away from everything else. Without going on for too long this argument always boils down to "You don't like the thing that your friend is doing (orange status)" and usually when I have a friend that does something that I don't like repeatedly, I stop being friends with them. I know it hurts to be left out but come on. We give people their space. It's selfish to complain about how someone else spends their time. And using a knife that says "Change your status behavior or I unfriend you" is very aggressive and is no grounds to have a friendship by. Surround yourself around people that fit your description of what you think a friend is don't try to change others. (This message is no way meant to harass anyone or start fights. If that so happens I will promptly delete. Be Deer To Each Other)

If i stretch my arms fully out, like you can see in the video, then my arms stay bent. I know about Avatar Limb Scaler, but is there a more proper variant thats easy to use or something? I have full file access.

This may have already been posted, but there have been several times I’ve gone to a public group instance and tried to invite a friend. When I do, it gives me a message saying I can’t invite them because they’re not in the group. If they request an invite or go through a portal, there’s no issue. Only when I try to invite them myself. It’s only started doing that in maybe the past month. Is this a bug or something else?

VRchat gives us such an amazing opportunity to find new people in such an accessible way! Though I'm sure many of us know that sometimes that can be difficult due to rather... Interesting people who make it harder to find a proper connection

Soooo, I am asking out of curiosity how you might go about the world of VRchat to find friends. Don't be shy! I am just very curious, and maybe others can take inspiration as well!

Me personally, I typically float around public worlds and either find people that are isolated or sometimes people find me when I'm isolated, and it typically results in a good conversation for about an hour or so. I don't really add people anymore, but I technically do make new friends by enjoying the time we spend together

It's a pretty simple looking outfit for a Division agent, but I think it works well with my Usasaki. Had the SHD Watch asset for awhile now, and finally got around to making an outfit around it.

Someone said there's a profile has red flag from group instance but i rather not ask them because it's something interest to get know. What is that mean? Like there's a third party website that allow VRC users to vote someone's profile turn into negative views or something?

I just finished going through Tiles with some friends and was reflecting on the great many worlds like this I have been through.

The ones that come to mind right away are Organism, Two Epilogue Worlds, and Mobius.

And I have one that I just haven't had time for as the creator says it would take over two hours to go through called Ritual (v․1․3)

My question is what, worlds am I missing? Do you know of any amazing walking sims that I should try?

Basically, a toggle that adds a spinning collar to my Avatar stopped working all of a sudden, without any new uploads happening for a whole month (I checked the date on the VRChat website just to be certain).

The collar was working earlier today (at around 6AM), but now is just straight up broken in-game. The asset in question is also missing from the Avatar's Unity Project even though I haven't opened it in a long while (and no, my PC is not compromised security-wise).

Anyone ever see something like this? This is actually freaking crazy.

Edit: I'm starting to think I may have made a mistake and accidentally deleted the asset at some point, and coincidentally it just so happened to break on VRCs side for some internal server reason for a completely separate reason, making it seem like one caused the other.

I have been working on a performance utility for SteamVR which started as a university project for some extra credit. I passed the class and decided to release it for free in case it can help someone.

It is similar to FpsVR except that it is free, has less features overall, but has some interesting differences. My main idea was to make a simple performance overlay that just has the essentials.

For a fun fact: PicoXR has used my overlay to help troubleshoot their streamer application as the frame time consistency graph on my overlay shows behavior none of the other overlays were able to show.

Features:

• GPU/CPU Frame times
• Frame time Consistency - Shows if performance is stuttery even when the frame rate appears stable. For wireless headsets this graph will also show connectivity lags.
• Controllers / Headset / Tracker battery percentages - This will be shown or hidden depending on whether your controller, headset, trackers, or VR streamer application supports battery data.
• RAM and VRAM usage
• Frame rate - Both live and smoothed out
• Clock - Taken from your PC clock
• Current game session playtime
• Can be moved anywhere - By holding and moving the movement bar under the overlay you can move it anywhere and attach it to the left or right controller. The movement bar will show only when the SteamVR Dashboard is opened.
• Can be scaled to any size - By holding and dragging the scaling bar to the right of the overlay you can make it any size. The scaling bar will show only when the SteamVR Dashboard is opened.
• Opacity adjustment
• Fades based on distance and viewing angle
• Quick settings appear when the SteamVR Dashboard is open
• Dedicated setting page in the SteamVR Dashboard
• Colorblind options

Graph colors:

• Blue - Frame on time
• Orange - Frame lagging behind slightly
• Red - Frame lagging behind a lot
• Purple - Dropped frame
