I won't use generic examples like RDR2 but something like that. I'm not specifically looking for open world I'm even fine with something like Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 4, Control. Like I know the whole story, I know what will happen, but just something about the gameplay and the world/setting feels replayable. For example, Life is Strange one of my favorite games but I won't replay it over and over because everything is the same except one last choice that's like 5 mins of extra play.

I'm not looking for JUST multiple endings or just the same open world. Anything that's fun to play and you won't get bored of. Whether it's open world, linear, 2d or whatever. Genre doesn't matter to me. I just want something that has a bit of story and is highly replayble.

The closest example I can give is Elden Ring. I've platinumed it but still put in extra hours due to how replayble it is. I just want a game I can purchase, then it stays installed on my PS and I boot it up and play whenever I have nothing to play.

Aaaa so many games, so little time.
Just got back from vacation, fired up my ps and now catching up with September releases and some reviews on YT.
I already had the below on my to play list, bought them because they were on sale and I plan to play them all at some point.

Persona 5 Royal
Disco Elysium
Subnautica
Nier Automata

And then September came and I’m starting to feel overwhelmed by this many new additions lol

- AC Black Flag Resynced (haven’t played the original)
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword (loved dawn of dreams)
- Wolverine
- The Blood of Dawnwalker (like the story premises, but gameplay looks clunky from the reviews)
- Aniimo
- The Witcher 3 Remastered (haven’t played the old version either)

I’m trying to decide on 1 or 2 games to play, but also considering atm I don’t have much free time for looong games like P5R, plus have to finish it before GTA6 release.

Which of these would you recommend? Any advice?

I’ve been on the fence with Dawnwalker as I enjoy the Witcher style gameplay and the Vampire theme of the game and was curious what everyone’s thought on it have been so far? I have somewhat of an understanding on the timer system which seems like it could be a neat element to the game, has the implementation caused any headaches or does it work for what the games going for? How does the game perform on PC and would you recommend picking it up?

Which game should I buy first between Ark Survival or Palworld or Enshouded?

I'm quiet a new in this Genre. I have Valheim but didn't enjoy it. Though I love dinosaurs & taming them is a cool idea, they will help you to build your utopia.

Still Ark Survival has a big space problem of 400+ GB.

Other option is palworld but Pokemon sort of creature we tame here. i may find some enjoyment here.

I don't know about Enshouded though, how pet taming works there but gameplay looks promising.

So, I am looking for your advice on it.

I'm the type of gamer who prioritizes gameplay over graphics. Both games have gotten really high ratings, but I've tried the Onimusha demo and found the combat kinda slow and clunky at times. BoD unfortunately doesn't have a demo, so I have no idea how the combat feels.

I’m trying to decide between Blood of the Dawnwalker and Dragon’s Dogma II. Based on what I’ve enjoyed recently, which would you suggest more?

So, both games are currently on sale right now for 20% off and I’m wondering which to get as I think both look good and I know it depends on what I’m mainly feeling. For context some of my favourite games are: Cyberpunk, The Witcher 3, TLOU1 & 2, RDR2, Control, Ghost of Tsushima and Yotei and Uncharted 2,3,4, Destiny, Elden Ring and Monster Hunter and God of War 2018 and Ragnarok and RE2,4 and 7

I wanted to grab one of these games as they both have good reviews and 007 has planned dlc on the way and crimson desert has just dropped the enhanced version and an expansion dropping in October.

What’s the crack with 007 with replay ability n that as I’ve not touched the hitman games at all and wanted to know if it has some RPG mechanics where I can choose what to do differently for different outcomes on story and approach missions differently?

Moving onto Crimson desert, since its first been shown I’ve not known what exactly it’s meant to be other than just some big open world with a ridiculous amount of content kinda like an MMO, with a mix of dragon dogma combat and monster hunter but I could be wrong. I won’t be playing this nonstop as there’s games this month that are coming that I want like wolverine, control resonant and hell even Witcher 3 remaster will be getting another playthrough at the end of the month, but if I got this game I will be dabbling in and out of it when I fancy so I don’t get burnt out

Hope this kinda helps what you’d recommend me or help me with my decision as I’m a fan of both James Bond and linear games but don’t mind a open world to completely get lost in which it looks to be able to be with crimson desert

I’m looking for a new game to play. I loved Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3, and I’ve also played Sekiro and really enjoyed the combat and boss fights.

I’m thinking about trying Black Myth: Wukong, but I wanted to know how good and engaging it actually is. Does it keep you hooked throughout the game, or does it start to feel repetitive after a while?

How are the combat, bosses, exploration, and progression compared to games like Elden Ring. Would you recommend it to someone who really enjoys those types of games?

Hey everyone! I’m currently 3 chapters into Crimson Desert, but between work and life, I only get about an hour or two of gaming time a week. At this rate, I doubt I’ll ever finish it.

On the other hand, The Blood of Dawnwalker looks right up my alley with its dark, vampiric vibe, and I’m really tempted to dive in. Would trying to juggle both games on such a limited schedule be impossible, or should I just pause Crimson Desert and start Dawnwalker while I’m excited about it?

Hey everyone. I'm relatively new to PC gaming, especially open-world RPGs. I've mostly played like laid-back games like FIFA or casual simulators where I can just turn off my brain and play the game stupidly.

I've always watched gameplay for titles like Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, The Witcher 3, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but the scale and the story always felt a bit intimidating to transition into.

I really wanna dive into my first big RPG. Based on trailers, clips, and social media feeds, these three titles are the ones that excites me the most:

The Witcher 3: The updated version/remastered trailer look incredible

Kingdom Come: Deliverance: Looks like a blast, I hear it leans heavily into realism. Not sure if that might be too much for a beginner

Crimson Desert Looks fast-paced and visually stunning. My YT shorts are FILLED with its ganeplay clips

My Questions:

Which of these three is the most forgiving or enjoyable for a complete beginner to the genre? Are there any other starter-friendly open-world RPGs you'd suggest over these three? Thanks for the help!

I didn't really have the money at the time it first released, but with the DLC announcement and all their recent updates, I'm incredibly interested again. It's also on sale. I always see bad comments on here about the game, so I'm questioning myself and whether I'll end up disappointed that I spent the money on the game. Are the criticisms overblown? I love open world games like Zelda and it seems similar just brought up a notch or two.

Beside Nier automata, i wanna find something that is not heavy in combat to play. My gpt suggested me playing persona.

I'm looking for a new Greek Mythology game to try. I've played all the God of Wars, Hades 1 and 2, Immortals Fenyx Risiing, and Assassins Creed Odyssey. I would be looking for something similar to Fenyx Rising, I had a lot of fun with that one; the world and characters were just so whimsical but still compelling. I'd mainly be lokking for an RPG, but I'm open to anything with good/fun gameplay and story. I mainly play on PlayStation, but I'm not opposed to downloading a good PC game to my laptop. Thanks!

Hi all, the game is out and unboxing videos of the Collectors Edition are out and im torn.

It looks nice and some details, such as the steelbook, seem exceptional....

Whereas others, like the paper map, "lore compendium" and the art box, seem like nice concepts but produced at a less high quality than the price point suggests (£175)

Compared to the Day one Edition which comes with the game, steelbook and map for £60

So im curious what the consensus on this is and to ask if we think the statue, art box and lore book (which appears to just be a thin art book) are worth £115.

This is a genuine question - i cant make up my mind whether to refuse/return this order and get the steelbook edition + full larger art book coming out (for £30) instead.

Or to keep this Collectors Edition order... (plus the larger art book, i know myself well enough to know ill get it).

I know it was considered a controversial game at release, but no idea why actually.

1. Is the game playable solo? Steam page says its solo and co-op, iirc at release that was something about it being co-op only, but I assume this is no longer true?
2. Are there some technical issues that make it unenjoyable maybe? How does it run in general? I assume the engine is the same/similar as Deathloop, so probably ok?
3. How is the story and characters? Is it worth playing for that? Is there even a story actually? Or is this more like an Extraction Shooter/Battle Royale bs? I don't want to get spoiled in case I get it, so don't want to watch any gameplay just yet.

I can probably get it for something like $25.

And to add, I'm actually a big fan of Dishonored series / Arkane's games, just not sure about Redfall specifically since reviews seem to be not so great.

I recently got a switch 2 and am looking for games to buy. After racking my brain for hours i narrowed it down to these two. For fire emblem I heard the story is really good and I like the art style. My fav series is persona so I'm interested in the social sim aspect as well and the characters. The combat seems fun as well. On the other hand for digimon, while I barely watched it as a kid, I've been a huge pokemon fan since then and also enjoy the collection and fusion into different demons aspect of persona and smt games. This gets me conflicted on what to play since I already spent a lot this month and can only buy one for a while 😭

Blood of Dawnwalker is new, fresh, probably will get some improvements in the future. Mixed reviews as well.

Crimson Desert is improved a lot from what I read and is on sale right now. What is everyones thoughts on this game right now?

You only get a first playthrough once. I feel I might get a better experience (and price) when I wait a little bit.

I got some…reservations about this game tbh. The gameplay looks spectacular, but James doesn’t FEEL like James Bond, prequel or not. His personality feels more like Ethan Hunt or the main guy from Kingsman than James Bond

So I'm not the most passionate guy about shooters. I've had my fun with COD throughout the years, and I love Valorant, but besides some others, that's about it.now I'm looking to dive into a shooter again, and I remembered these awesome games I played when I was younger, called "Army of 2".

I played these with my father and they were so cool, from the character customization to the builds, the missions were cool and gave you a lot of options as to how to accomplish them.

Are there any games that feel like the next gen version of these games?

Hi so I'm looking for a pc coop for 2 players. It can be couch or online. We've played and enjoyed rayman legends and origins, minecraft, it takes two, castle crashers and battleblock theater

We dont want any shooters or story heavy games and not split fiction

My friend got pretty bad pc so if its online coop it has to run well on potato but if it has couch coop then whatever, i can run it well

Should I buy Northgard if I'm looking to play solo? I liked the look of the game and I was recommended it by steam as a city builder, but it looks more like a Rts. Not that I would mind some fighting mixed in with building. Is it playable solo though? With the variety of mechanics the game looks to have I would be worried that the AI would struggle to keep up and I wasn't really looking to sit in lobbies and play against other people.

So the title says it I am looking for games that are like grid based where you move the characters to certain sports for attack defense and other things games like this include diseagea, super robot wars, and fire emblem are there any other games on steam that may fit this? Diseagea for me is too grindy as you have to redo the same level multiple times. Super robot wars ans Fire emblem have a nice flow storyline where you dont really feel impeded.

I'm looking for something that I'll be able to play constantly until GTA 6 comes out. I also just got a portal, so something that won't lag on there is a bonus.

I am looking for a game which can give atleast 80+ hours of game and the main problem I am having is budget I am waiting for steam autumn sale on October 1 and my budget is 1200-1600rs (12.71 - 17 usd).

My plan is to get monster hunter world or elden ring nightrigen because the gameplay is good, graphics is good, good story, open world (in nightrigen many boss), easily 100+ hours gameplay what do you guys think any game recommendations :)
