Rule 4 Reminder

Rule 4: No posts about politics or religion.

"Posts centered around politics, political stances and religion are extremely hot button topics not only just on this subreddit but on Reddit as a whole. Due to previous incidents and instances of hate speech, violence, threats and bigotry, we no longer allow either political nor religious posts.

Political posts opens the door for hate speech, LGBTQIA+ bigotry, vicious arguing, white supremacy and racism.

Religious posts open the door to religious bigotry, personal attacks and fear-mongoring."

This includes comments.

Why I am posting this: I see hundreds of comments a day that are nearly identical to each other in my mod queue from people who clearly either didn't read the rules, or don't care what the rules say. I just wanted to let y'all know that no one sees these comments besides us mods, so you're wasting your time typing them.

One more thing, it's best to verify your email on your account so the bot doesn't remove those comments as well.

I hope you all have a nice day.

Does anyone else get annoyed with the touchless bathroom faucet, soap and touchless the paper towel dispenser?

I’m sorry to ask this, but those things can be so damn annoying sometimes. I have to practically perform a full blown interpretive dance in front of the faucet just to get it to turn on. Then I wave my hand in front of the soap dispenser 20 times, and eventually I’m just punching it like it owes me money. Plus when you finally get it to go you get 5 seconds of water or you move you hand a centimeter to right the water shuts off.

Does anyone else have a few friendly spiders that just chill around the house?

Idk if I'm just weird but in my house I have 2 or 3 small-medium spiders that I see pretty regularly. They're super chill and I know their favourite spots so just leave them be and trust they're helping the ecosystem of my home. They never bother me and just hide under something if they notice me.

Everyone else I know would want them dead immediately lol am I just strange?

Edit: adding a tribute to Dave who unfortunately got squished today as I was flipping my mattress. RIP Dave, you were terrible at catching flies but it's not the same without you.

What is a Standered TV size for the average American?

I was chatting with my mom who just bought a TV. I looked at the box and went: “omg 65 inch? That’s huge???” And she goes, “well, it’s around the standard TV size for people now a days.”

My question is… is it? Do most people really have 65 inch TVs?

Those who graduated high school for a looong time, have you ever used the quadratic formula in a random day for something not really serious?

Okay, so this is very stupid but it's 1 am and I can't sleep.

Is printing out pictures of women celebrities and framing on your wall considered weird?

I’ve seen people do that. I get it if it’s a poster of a celebrity.

Why do you make your bed?

To the people who make their bed every morning; why?

To me it seems like a waste of time, since no one is going to see it, and I have to un-make it at night anyway.

Do you pay attention to movie ratings?

I don’t mean ratings as far as reviews or star ratings but if it’s rated G, PG, PG-13, or R. I know you pay attention with children but if it’s just you going to a movie or watching something that is streaming, do you look at the rating and decide if you want to watch it or not?
