Imo, the most interesting thing is how bigger horns allow them to more easily clear vegetetion. I was always doubtfull about the neccesity of all the auroch back breeding projects, but it seems the wild auroch build is the most fitting. It'll be interesting to see if there are more changes on the environment as they get more athletic. (Though I wish they faced predation pressure, but I understand that they don't want to lose good specimen)

Megafauna outside of stricktly land based ones need more attention.Not just in Sea Water but also Fresh Water too.

Norway/Russia has Walrus and Polar Bears.

Ton of Seals call the Europe home too(even freshwater ones like Siamaa Ringed Seal and Ladoga Ringed Seal).Isolated Seals who have been able to evolve unlike many other Seals.Some of the most impressive ones like Hooded Seal and cutest ones like Caspian Seal(and there are much more other Seals to talk about later on).

Europe still has some impressive fish Megafauna too.In Freshwater with powerful Sturgeons who are still holding on(with conservation efforts.Even in my country of Serbia Beluga Sturgeon still has a 3 km space for Spawning with some other Sturgeon species).These fish are so large they can weight a ton at old maximum weigh.Also Wels Catfish is as well amazing Megafauna(even tho the indiviguals who are 1.5 m dont typical get above 45 kg)but ones who get to 2 m absolutely are above 45kg!

Europes Seas has ton of other fish Megafauna too(Basking Shark counts with Ireland being major location of thousand sightseeings of the fish + they have been found as well in Mediterranean).Basking Sharks can be 7-8 and even 9 m(with weight of 4 to 5 tons).Largest Fish of Europe.Real units of nature.Other large shark(of which there is many in European watery)is one of the largest Sharks in the world that eats not just other fish the Great White Shark(that does hold on in areas of Sicily).And should not ge locally extinct.Other amazing Sharks are Shortfin Mako Shark(who isnt only Mako Shak species as Longfish Mako Shark-Isurus paucus also exists).But Shortfins Mako are fastes Sharks knowb today with speeds of 74km/h in water with 2 to 3 m + weigh above 100kg.Common Thresher Shark is also amazing Shark species(that can even outweight Mako Sharks on avreage and be way longer up to 6 meters.As they are the largest Threshers in the world).

Common Dolphins being so widespread around Europe.One of the most intelligent animals on Earth and some of the largest heavyest(1.9-2.5 m and 80 to 235kg).But I think there is animal in Europe thats even more impressive than them.

And now finally Orca the wolf of the sea.One of the most incredible Megafauna in the world(maybe even universe).From Mediterranean to other parts of Europe and world they can grow up to 6-8 long + 1.5 to 11 tons.Some of smartest animals on earth.

As shown in this post, snapping turtles lived in Nevada, possibly because of the more humid climate. Do you think it should be reintroduced because it's a native species that went geologically extinct relatively recently, or is it too risky due to this species' history of destruction in its native habitats?

Life After People, a documentary by History Channel that tells what would to planet Earth if we humans suddenly dissapeared. Some of the cities would crumble, the animals could change and evolve, and the plants would grow all over Earth free of human contamination.

Just thought this was fitting as an example of how our actions are effecting the natural world, but that their are still compassionate people that want to and are cleaning up the mess.

Sighting recorder here https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/74054957. While anomalous, this is still within the historic range for the species.

Now I am not calling for Rhino/Elephant/Tiger conservations in the park to stop.But I do think the people who are in charge of the park should change.

How does the *Poaching Poachers* method work in Kaziranga National Park?

Many people think its *just people with guns* but no thats not how the park does it.Park guards are given orders to shoot anyone at night.Be it poachers or local people.

This *inhumane* basically violation of human rights law.Allows the park guards to be fully immune from killing or shooting anyone on the park.Which is a disaster in combination with how rural people live right near the parks boarders.

100% clear cut count of people killed is never given(a by product of park rangers not caring enough to really count it and people not being able to stand up against them).But the count given at one stage was 2 people every month(more than 20 people a year).So in 2015 more people were shot dead by park guards than Rhinos were killed by poachers.

Now even tho native people who live near Kaziranga National Park can be poachers.It is naive to assume that every single person who was killed was a poacher.There have been proven examples of innocents being killed by Kaziranga National park guards(and people killed not even just by park guards for Kaziranga).

Two guards who got interviewed by BBC said that they are just told to shoot anybody at night.Here are the qoutes from the interview:

"The instruction is whenever you see the poachers or hunters,we should start our guns and hunt them", Avdesh explains without hesitation.

"You shoot them?" I ask.

"Yah yah.Fully ordered to shoot them.Whenever you see the poachers or any people during night-time we are ordered to shoot them."

And even Senior Official of India's Forest Department says:"We dont keep each and every account"(who overseas India's National parks).Which should set off alarm bells that this is a poorly implemented idea.

They even know that there arent any concequences if someone is killed by them.Park guards have full legal immunity.Even when..children get killed and shot.

Young boy Goanburah had been shot by park guards for just being seen at the wrong time in the park(which happend because the park does not have any fences/signs and just merged perfectly with the native peoples residence).He was just looking for his families cows.Couldnt explain properly why he was there(because of his mental disabilities).And got killed...for which the park is fully legally immune from.His parents cant even press charges on the wrongful murder.

This law creates a negative feedback that just does more harm then good.And it does not end here.

Another young boy Akash Orang got shot.Park rangers didnt even give him a chance to explain himself(he was just going from a shop).And he wasnt even on the parks grounds(but borders of it thru the main track of his village).The gunshot blasted most of the calf muscle on his right leg.Now this time the Park officials did think they did *something wrong* but they only gave him a small amount for his surgery(which hasnt fixed the problem).And he cant walk again(having to be carried by his brother).

There are other human rights violations by the park.Such as use of force to move people from there homes(to expand the parks range).They use bulldozers and Elephants to crush peoples homes to the ground.When people resist police brutality injurys women/men/children and has killed two people in the past.

Innocent people like Mona Bora are wrongfuly targeted by park guards and tortured on suspictions of casuing trouble(cause they dont like when people march park for answers when they do kill people).

I dont think this practice of shooting poachers is humane or effective at all.
