All the 3D printed parts you need to transform the look of the latest goggles, replacing most of the silver parts with black ones.

All you need is some black filament (matte recommended), small pair of pliers for the support removal and some glue.

This won’t turn these into a movie replica, but will give them a bit more credibility from a distance / make it slightly less toy like (although 9 grams of filament can’t work miracles 🙂) and make them look a bit more like the movie prop.

I 3d printed this Kenner Real Ghostbusters proton pack and trap. I was going to do a classic style with LEDs but my friend mentioned glow in the dark and here we are. Anyway, hope you enjoy. The stls are on etsy

555-2368 is the number listed on the commercial for the Ghostbusters. I know 555 is common in movies/tvs but just found out that this specific number would have also gotten you Jim Rockford on Rockford Files and Jaime Sommers (the Bionic Woman). It was also used in other movies as well. So, who you gonna call?

I need a couple of no ghost patches in pink and a pink themed name patch made for a flightsuit I’m making. Does anyone know anyone that makes custom coloured patches?

I updated the Plasma Series GB1 display with the Rooftop Showdown set. The original set got moved into the Haslab Ecto-1.

Added the Matty Collector Rookie character from GBTVG for good measure. Also seen is the Tony Taylor Toys Library Ghost in the back left.

Picture seems to be in good shape. The frame has seen better days.

Hey there I assume some folks here if not most have the haslab proton pack and or the two in the box I’m wondering if anyone knows about the haslab not being a thing anymore? and how they would go about future releases for like prop replica or role play kind of items for other lines but specifically ghostbusters?? I’d still like to see other things like maybe the rc trap or like the ecto goggles can swap out mods to make it from afterlife or original just an idea to go along with my questions lol thanks for reading! deep space 9 out..

I only have the 84 pack cuz it was a last minute splurge and I didn't have the money for the wand also. I see the Spengler wand out there for around $300 ish, but recently saw a listing for 84 wand at $350. It's definitely high, but have we seen any reason to believe there will be another run of wands? And if so, wouldn't we assume the price increases as well?

I often here that the original Ghostbusters film is a conservative film as it's paint capitalism in a positive light and has EPA as the villain of the film. But after thinking about the film more, I have hard time accepting that Ghostbusters as a conservative film, even though this interpretation is treated as gospel even by people who identify as progressive.

I understand that the film is rags to riches story in a way where the Ghostbusters go from being a struggling small business to a successful modest enterprise. But at the end of the day the Ghostbusters NEVER become corporate. Even by the end of the film, they are still presented as underdogs who are beloved by the city. I don't really see this as pro-capitalist message, and as for Walter Peck being the antagonist, I think that it has more do with Walter's ego and need for control then being against regulations.

Peck doesn't even think the Ghostbusters are legit, he thinks their frauds and he cares more about delegitimatizing the Ghostbusters then he does about public safety. Sure, the film is very anti-establishment but being anti-establishment doesn't necessarily mean anti-regulations. Ghostbusters as a film is suspicion of authority, which is why authority figures tend to antagonistic towards them. But again, I don't really see this as a conservative message. Conservatives tend to more complacent to the status quo than actually challenge it.

I know that original draft of the script would have the Ghostbusters becoming a multinational corporation but if that were to happen the Ghostbusters wouldn't be underdogs anymore (which is a big part of their appeal), and it would been a conservative and pro-capitalist message. I know that GB fans want to see a Ghostbusters multinational company in the movies but if that were to happen, the focus can't be original Ghostbusters as they wouldn't be blue-collar entrepreneurs anymore. They would be corporate exes, and the narrative would have shift to new Ghostbusters who work for exes. The franchise would also change from being about struggling entrepreneurs to blue-collar workers, which to mean would be changing the franchise in order for it to stay the same.

Do you think Ghostbusters is a conservative film, or do you not think about the political leanings of the film?

So I haven’t seen the Ghostbusters music video in such a long time but I keep forgetting that some big names were part of it! Gotta admit I get really sad when I see John Candy he’s such a funny guy!

It got me thinking I wonder why we never had a Ghostbusters movie with him as the new recruit, Danny DeVito is also in the music video he would’ve been really funny too!

I like to imagine there’s an alternate dimension where they were somehow implemented in the series

Regarding Dan Aykroyd's book, the signed edition, at Barnes and Noble...will Soulhider signed, which is listed as out of stock on the website, come back in stock do you think? I know of B&N's signed-book program, but I don't really know how it works as I never ordered one before (the only signed book I ever got, and this was by accident, was a signed Paul Stanley autobiography I found in a physical store by chance).

If anyone has purchased signed books from the chain, please let me know whether you think it will be back in stock, be in the store-level at some point (and maybe I can reserve it?), or if I am simply out of luck. Not the end of the world, but I thought it might be fun to have a signed copy. Thanks.
